It would be nice to have the oops function added to the newsletter module and have an interface for it in notification settings.
Thanks.

Sorry I meant ot add:
The member clicked on the unsubscribe link by accident and did not cancel out as the newsletter did not offer your oops feature.
He contacted me asking me to reinstate his subscription.
I checked his profile and all available choices were set to "send mail".
Yet 'user_unsubscribed' => 'on' was still set in the database.
Why is there no way of interfacing with this?

Newsletter Subscription

That's the problem there was no sign of anything set to "do not notify" after he had unsubscribed.
It was all set to "send email" and no choice available relating to newsletter.
Only these 4 choices appear on the notifications tab for users:
New Pending Follower
New Follower
Follow Approved
Mentioned In Activity Stream

Newsletter Subscription

Using Jamroom

Sorry I posted this on the product page as well...

Had a member accidently unsubscribe from the newsletter and wishes to be resubscribed.
I can see he has unsubscribed in the Newsletter Stats, yet all his notification settings are set to "Send email".
Furthermore I can't see any setting relevant to the Newsletter there to reset for him.
The only choices are:
New Pending Follower
New Follower
Follow Approved
Mentioned In Activity Stream

Has he actually been unsubscribed or is there only a record of him unsubscribing?

I found "user_unsubscribed" set to "on" in the database under jrUser_item_key (for his profile) and set it to "off"
Have I done a bad thing? Or will this resubscribe him?

Thanks.

Your thoughts please.

When set to Approve on create and update, and when clicking on attending, the listed event becomes inactive awaiting approval from administration.

Unwanted line-breaks

Off Topic

Hi Brian,

Paragraphs have been fixed.
Line-breaks still appear after list-items 'li' and headings 'h1' etc.
Cheers, David.

Update: the line-break has chaged from escaped (XHTML style) to unescaped (HTML 4.01 style) and have had to modify Template Injection to suit. :)

Unwanted line-breaks

Off Topic

Still got the issues.
Just on the Events item_detail.tpl
linebreaks after every closing tag, including list-items.

Currently using template injection to overcome this.
