How for users to activate their OneAll profile?

Using Jamroom

Hi,

I have made a test account via Google on my own site http://find-et-band.dk/ with OneAll.

When I go to my user account via the link in the e-mail sent to my Gmail and then go to the profile page I get this message: This profile is not active and is only visible to admin users and the site owner.

How can I make it active? I can´t see where, so I don´t think the users have a chance either..?

How for users to activate these type of accounts made via OneAll?

Let me know :)

Thanks!

One All Social Login - How to collect information on users?

Using Jamroom

I have done the upgrading - and it works like it should! :)

The information from the sign up is saved to the user account settings. But it only works for new accounts, but that´s no issue for me because I don´t have many sign ups yet :)

But I guess the system will remember the info as soon as people save it again...

Well done!

Thanks a lot! :)

One All Social Login - How to collect information on users?

Using Jamroom

Yes, sure!

Here is the 3 fields from: http://find-et-band.dk/user/account/

user_town
user_type
user_instrument

And it´s the same for the 3 fields on: http://find-et-band.dk/user/signup

user_town
user_type
user_instrument

There are other fields as well, but the issue are in these dropdown and multiple choise fields.

I can send my login along via email if that´s more easy for you?

Let me know...

Thanks :)

I know what you mean. I have done it under account settings, but it seems like the system does not remember the user settings in this way...

I hope there is something to do about this little issue. I just dont know what?

Let me know what the issue could be here...

Thanks

One All Social Login - How to collect information on users?

Using Jamroom

I have tryed that before and now I have done it agian. But still when I take a look at the account settting for i.e. the profile "torbenj" (me) on my site, I know that I ahve chosen "drummer" in "Hedensted Kommune" and "Musician". These informations does not appear under account on my site. All the info are reset so it looks like the http://find-et-band.dk/user/signup page, and I believe that if I save the settings it will "flush" my old setttings from when I signed up the very first time.

What I want is the settings I have chosen the first time to shown on the Account page, so that the setting are still the same after saving - unless I have changed it myself.

Hope it´s possible to understand what I mean? :)

Thanks :)

One All Social Login - How to collect information on users?

Using Jamroom

Hi there,

I have just had a new sign up on my site http://find-et-band.dk/ - and that´s good! :)

What I need to know is how the OneAll Social Login is working when people sign up/in.

If people are signup the "normal" way I am collecting data from them like "location" and "instrument" i.e., but when people use OneAll to sign up then I don´t get these informations because they don´t put them in the fields here: http://find-et-band.dk/user/signup.

Is it possible to let users choose their "indetity" later on - like in their profile? I know that I can set it up in the form designer, but that means that the fields will also be shown for users who has signed up "normally". And the fields are reset for the "normal" users in their profiles if I choose to let them be able to make the choises in there.

It would be smart if i.e. bands could re-choose what they are looking for. Like if they suddenly need a new drummer.

I hope this is making a little sense to somebody..? It´s a little tricky to explane and my english is not all that good :)

Let me know how I can get around this..?

Thanks a lot!

Torben

Blog posts not being deleted throughout my site - and the editor is gone..?

Thanks so much for these quick answers. That´s nice! :)

I have now done the last update and I have done the resetting of the cache. And it helps.

Thanks again :)

Blog posts not being deleted throughout my site - and the editor is gone..?

Using Jamroom

Hi there,

1/ I was just about to write a blog post on my site www.find-et-band.dk - when I realized that the editor field was gone. I have been writing other blog posts without notising any problems. Why is this field suddenly missing? I have tried to change to a text field but that´s not working like it should.

2/ When for example write a blog post and delete it again, why does it still appear on my timeline? It would be cool if it was deleted throughout my site when it´s deleted. It´s not good to have old stuff on a site that should have been deleted. Is there a way to make all the data disappear when I (or someone else) delete a blog post in example?

3/ As you can see some places on my site there are an issue with the line breaks. I guess it´s the editor that´s now gone that has done something to the text. You can see it here: http://find-et-band.dk/admin and here http://find-et-band.dk/page/2/privatlivspolitik - I have only made one linebreak but I guess there is 3 at least?

Well, if someone knows how to get the editor back it would be nice. I have Michael working on my search form, but I don´t know if that can affect the editor used for wrigting blog posts in example?

Let me know...

Thanks :)

I have been trying to do what you told me to, but I really think this one is a bit to complicated for me. I think I need a step-by-step guide to do this by myself.

I have a friend who maybe can help me a little, but otherwise I believe I would need some expert help on this one.

Do you have any idea what the price would be if someone else should take a look at it. Do you offer that kind of support/help? I´ve been thinking about freelancer.com, but I don´t know if that´s such a good idea?

Let me know..?!

Thanks! :)
