I wish I had a debugger enviro setup, but I don't anymore since I did a clean install of Win10. I guess I have to re-install my Jamroom stuff and get all that setup again, haven't yet.

site.com/ is still showing the not found page with the header and the footer - it appears to be showing the 404.tpl

site.com/index is showing the garbage I replaced between the header and the footer.

Yup. Router is working fine. Displaying Hello World everywhere on the site. Had to clear out the cache to see it.

The htaccess file for JR is super simple and thus the conversion to nginx is simple also. You should see the laravel htaccess file, that htaccess file goes on forever. They do have it converted for Nginx though.

Also important to note, the header and footer ARE showing on the index - when your test code isn't there.

Installation and Configuration

I finished installing Jamroom under Nginx. Only the base modules are installed.

I proceeded to installed the jrCore beta. Once I did this, the main page of the site is showing "Not Found".

Profiles work great, everything is showing up... timeline, blogs, followers, pages. Dashboard is working great. ACP is working except for the image issue I posted.

I uninstalled the Elastic skin and re-installed it, still showing the main page as not found. I can do a direct /index and it will show up.

Is this a setting issue or a bug?

Thanks for letting me know.

One other thing that was a little weird... the quote for Quiz (first one in the image) links directly to my profile instead of the discussion. I can actually view the comment if I go directly to the page. Maybe that's a bug in the timeline?

Hello. I'm seeing a bunch of your new mods in my Timeline and wanted to check them out, but whenever I click on one of the links it gives me a "page not found" error.

In the image below, if I click on the "Quiz" in this line: "Posted a new Comment on "Quiz"" it directs to my page https://www.jamroom.net/jimmy

Is there some way I can see your marketplace items? Do I have to be in a special group or have permission to see the items?

If I click on, let's say, Validator - it sends me to this page: https://www.jamroom.net/ultrajam/networkmarket/297/validator which, for me, is a Page Not Found.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know if you did want people to be able to access those pages.

Broken ACP Images (Nginx)

Installation and Configuration

Just got everything installed on Nginx. I'm getting some broken images in the ACP. Most of the images are appearing fine, except for a select few. Below are the errors I'm getting for the https://10.0.0.151/core/system_check "System Check" page - see output below.

Other images are working fine. Front-end images appear to be working fine. (see images)

An example would be the option_pass.png, the first error below. It directs to

/home/nginx/domains/10.0.0.151/public/image/img/module/jrCore/option_pass.png

direct access to the file works great

https://10.0.0.151/modules/jrCore/img/option_pass.png

As you can see from the screenshots attached, other images are showing up fine. It only seems to be select images which aren't showing up.

Here is the kicker... looking at page5.png below, the same images which are broken in other parts of the ACP are showing up fine on the /core/admin/images page. In my example above, the option_pass is showing up on the core/admin/images list, but not showing up in other parts of the ACP where that specific image is being used.

Now sure what is the issue here. Somethings show and some things don't. I haven't touched the permissions for any of the folders, they're all default 644/755, except for the folder which I made 777 when asked to before the install.

Nginx install dbase error

Installation and Configuration

Yup that did it. Install successful! Thanks @b360 for finding the error and @brian for fixing it so quickly. Now I can finish the vhost file and update the Nginx thread here.

Nginx install dbase error

Installation and Configuration

@brian I went to the modules page https://www.jamroom.net/download/modules and both the jrCore versions download a file called jamroom-core-5.2.41.zip. Is that just a naming issue or is the beta core file named differently?
