Passwords Not Going Trough to Foxy Cart

Now testing foxycart more and seeing that even when I use emails that are assigned to JRsite users 'Logged Out user (who has account) making a purchase', I get this message "That email address doesn't belong to any previously saved accounts. Please enter a password below to create a new account."

Meaning; that if I would proceed it would create a second account under that email.

It shows that it should say
"Your account was found from a previous transaction. Please enter your password below to retrieve your previously saved information."

Yesterday I was testing with my main JRsite admin email and it works (not sure why that makes a difference).

Just reviewed entire https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/modules/2/setting-up-foxycart-jrfoxycart
and made sure my settings are the same.

Any idea?

Thanks @michael, understand now how it works.

Just wanted to point out that this set up can be confusing for buyers...

A - So they do not enter their JRsite password thinking it will work
B - So they do not think their JRsite password was reset when they had to get a temp password and then reset it, then next time they go to actual JRsite they will try to use new one.
C - So they know to save the foxycart password for future purchases assuming it is different then their JRsite one.

It would help if there was some kind of text explanation by the enter password field. But see this part of the transaction is on the foxycart.com site, so not sure if anything can be done about this.

Lets say for example in 'profile/settings' form designer (also tested in other forms) you want to add a new field called 'artist location'.

Now you only want this field to show up on the profile settings page of 'artist profiles' and not regular 'member profiles'.

Lets say you that you have 3 quotas 1-Advanced Artist 2-Basic Artist 3-Member. So under 'display groups' you would want to highlight Advanced Artist and Basic Artist and leave Member un-highlighted.

If this is done, the field will not show up in the settings of either Advanced or Basic artists. Yet if only one Quota was selected it would show.

I did notice that if two Groups are selected (ex: Master Admins and Profile Admins) it does show.

So far on my site, I am fine using Groups but do understand instances where people would want to have multiple quotas and exclude others. For example if they want the profile owners themselves to access the field but do not want all quotas to see it.

Have 'Item rated:' checked off under 'notifications'

Do not get any alerts (to admin, did not test if profile that owns item gets alert) when audio, photo or profiles are rated, regardless if rater is a logged in user or is not logged in (rating is enabled for all visitors).

With video rating something strange happens. When a non logged in user rates a video then rating is registered but no email alert, same as above. However when a logged in user rates a video, admin gets an email saying...

A new Pending Item is awaiting approval!

A new item is waiting to be approved in the System Dashboard:
http://site.com/core/dashboard/pending

In dashboard > pending items it shows the video that has been rated but under the raters profile (not the owners profile) ex: ratersprofile/video/7

At the same time as soon as item has been rated it disappears from site
and url displays "NOT FOUND The page you requested was not found!" (through admin account page can still be accessed.

Once video is approved in pending items, things go back to normal.

When unlogged user tries to buy item, on foxycart checkout page they are asked to enter an email.

Assuming there is an active account with this email, it then displays ...
"Your account was found from a previous transaction. Please enter your password below to retrieve your previously saved information."

However when password is entered it says ...
"Incorrect Password:
That email address looks correct, but the password is not. Please re-enter your password, or click the link below to have a temporary password emailed to you."

Tried this a few times with different accounts, also passwords are valid since used them right after to log into actual site.

I believe that all the setting are the same as what is shown on https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/modules/2/setting-up-foxycart-jrfoxycart

BTW in 'form designer' > 'display groups'

If more then one quota is highlighted it will not show up field in quotas. Did not have much time to fully test but from the runs I did, it seems like this is true. At the moment it is not relevant on our site but just mentioning it since came across it.
