Chat error for some members

Using Jamroom

Is the default room one that's accessible to their quota?

--edit--
An SQL query error is a request to the database, so this is a jamroom issue. Browser and operating system will not play a part.

--edit--
Have them try logging out and back in again.

Chat error for some members

Using Jamroom

Looks like they're trying to chat 'nowhere'. Get them to select a room, then see if it still happens.

I thought there would be a default room that they got sent to if none was selected.

Conversion Worker

Jamroom Developers

The Cloud modules have all been removed from the marketplace a while ago.

We do still have them but since the setup is more complex than just turning on the module they just get used on projects where we're doing the development.

If you downloaded them a while a ago then sure, use them but the specifics of setup would need to be analyzed in order to get working.

The basics concept is:
* jamroom on both servers
* connected via the cloud moudle

Since the modules are no longer in the marketplace its quite probable that the ones you have are older versions of the modules.

What is the name of the modules that you are trying to use?

Does the User Re-authenticate option interfere with Forgot login process?

Using Jamroom

Yeah, for whatever reason.

A profile admin wants tries to change that users password, but the master site admin doesnt want profile admins to do that so turns this on so that only master admins and the owner can change the details.

At some point in time someone requested the ability for some reason I cant remember, now the feature exists.

Does the User Re-authenticate option interfere with Forgot login process?

Using Jamroom

different locations.

The first is when a logged in user opens their MY ACCOUNT page and changes their password to something else, it will prompt "Please enter your current password".

And if they've forgotten that, then will need to ask an admin user for assistance.

So Forgot Password is a system for currently logged out users to get back in. Re-authenticate is a system for logged in users to confirm they know the password.

emails not sending

Installation and Configuration

You have your own mailgun key set. A few months back mailgun disabled their free tier. So in an effort to prevent everyone on our hosting to have to pay the about $30/month to use mailgun, we've setup an account that Jamroom Hosting customers can use.

Currently you're not using that. If you would like to use that I can remove the mailgun key from your server then you will need to delete your mailgun account or at least remove any references to your domains from mailgun (because the same domain cant be on 2 accounts over there.)

Once thats done your mail will go through the Jamroom Hosting accounts mailgun account.

If you send a TON of email or want to have your own mail gun account then get the API key from mailgun and send it to support at jamroom dot net along with a link to this thread and we'll get it installed on your server.

The one that is there now is prefixed with 'sandbox.....' which is probably the reason emails aren't working.

phone version of tinymce text editor is limited?

Using Jamroom

Glad its fixed. Well done.

I'm trying to learn bluegrass guitar and one teaching site uses that system ( musicWithRyan.com ) . It makes it so much easier to be able to loop just one bar and watch where the fingers go.
Hopefully they get a dulcimer version out if its of use to you.

Activiy Log Watcher - seeking advice for how to use this

Using Jamroom

Some ideas:
* If you wanted to know when one of your users posts a new blog post. (so you could go check it)
* If you wanted to know if any forum posts were deleted by your staff. (so you could ask them about why it was deleted)
* if you wanted to know when someone downloaded a specific thing. (that shows up as a log entry)
* if you wanted to keep an eye on the specific activities of one email address.
* if you have something like this "Payments: Stripe has transferred $50 to the active bank account".

What it does is when your conditions match it sends you an email to tell you that it happened.

So scan your activity log for things you're interested in.
