What construction kit - are you built on the "Slate" skin where the design tools work?

Some Videos Playback in Playlists only 1 Minute?

Using Jamroom

Hi Derrick,

No I haven't heard anything. All I know is what's posted here- https://www.jamroom.net/subscribe

It says (limited) if you are not subscribed at the minimum level, but I'm not sure what limited means.

Some Videos Playback in Playlists only 1 Minute?

Using Jamroom

Hi Derrick,

I don't know if there is another way. I have full c-panel access, but I'm not a programmer.

What Brian suggests at the script level is the only method I am currently aware of...

brian:

- modify the jrVideo/config.php and add a new Global Config option for skipping sample creation
- modify the jrVideo/index.php and in the create_save and update_save views add a check for the new config option and add it to the created Queue array
- modify the jrVideo/include.php file and customize the jrVideo_convert() function to check for the incoming setting and create/skip the sample creation.

If you're not up for that then you will need to wait on us to add that as part of a module update.

Thanks!

Please keep me apprised, as I have done nothing in that area yet.

I intend to pull everything for sale into one main marketplace, as a service for subscribers.

Some Videos Playback in Playlists only 1 Minute?

Using Jamroom

Hi SE - what the artist decides to sell or not sell on my network is left up to them.

However, I did see something on your site the other day which I have been meaning to ask you about. You have a main marketplace.

Are you using a seamless list or something like that to pull in products from your members?

Thank-you All,

Just a FYI.

Our donations come under the WAAOM 501(c)(3) umbrella - http://weallareoneministry.org The President of WAAOM is the network's CFO, so there is complete transparency and accountability.

We have a donate button that passes through their system. Everything that comes in on the button tagged "Purpose:Indie Gospel" is tracked by their accounting agency before it get's to us and where the money goes is also tracked. https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=ZNCPK7X66CHEL

That is "COMPLETELY SEPARATE" from the artist content sales. They keep 100% whether they are selling through Paypal (free artists), or Foxycart (paid artists).

Any proposals would have to bear these facts in mind - thanks.

John Bizley:

Hi Ken, if you are going to allow the full length playing but they are still for sale instead of for sale how about saying something like 'donate & download video', maybe sounds a little friendlier.

Hi John,

You might have a point there. I'll have to think about that one. It's a lot to fit on a button for one thing, so it would probally have to be reduced to a global swap of "Buy" buttons to "Donate" buttons.

We also accept "tax deductible" donations through 501(c)(3) WAAOM. So a visitor might also miss the "REAL" donate button if there is a "sea" of donate buttons (forest for trees - lol).
