odd meta behavior

Using Jamroom

Wondering if anyone's encountered this.

I'm getting something odd from a jr5 site hosted at jbservers. It seems to be holding on to an old meta.tpl file. I've updated a few things in it. Added a webmaster tools meta and started using jr's analytics module so I removed the code I'd put in meta for that.

But none of these things are showing in the source. I can change things in index.tpl and they show, but somehow the meta.tpl file is not changing. I can change css too.

Newest jr version. I've run Integrity Check, clearing caches and all that. Everything else is solid, jamroom runs well there.

There is one anomaly about this site's skin. It's an old jr5 site and I called the cloned Elastic skin "hmm2" back when that was OK. Now when I clone it, none of the CSS works. Probably unrelated, but there's that.

form designer field type suggestion

Suggestions

I would like a field type of formtext or something where you could enter something in the option box and have it then displayed as html output in the form. That way you could break up sections of a form or describe various aspects of a form to your users. HTML should be allowed, if possible.

jrEvent Notifications

Using Jamroom

Email and private note boxes, please.

All of my multiple personalities would like this.

Also, does it count exponentially if I have multiple jamroom sites? They each have their own site.

Aparna image error

Using Jamroom

Thanks, gary. I'm really simply pointing out the error in Aparna to the team so it can be addressed moving forward. I don't really want to fix the programming every time.

Aparna image error

Using Jamroom

Yes, I understand, but it's still an issue. The error it's sending is wrong and should be fixed.

Is it possible to add notifications for events a user is attending?

Aparna image error

Using Jamroom

It's a great answer since it gets us past the error -- thanks.

The issue should still be looked into, I guess.

Aparna image error

Using Jamroom

I have an Aparna module and have added an Image field in the Form Designer. An image is uploaded when the item is created. When I attempt to update the item's title or "credits" (there are three total fields: Title, Credits and Image), I get the following error:
You have entered an invalid value for "image"
I'm not sure why since the image is already there and showing in the form. It shows in a list and all that. I have to upload it again in order to successfully update the form.

I've not customized any of the module code. I have this same module working on another site without this issue. The only difference I see is that in the form that errors, the image is required, in the other it is not.

profile forums?

Using Jamroom

I call the profile called "home" in its own quota, the same as explained above. This quota can make a forum, groups, polls, file uploads, sell merchandise, etc. Your list of special features would be different, of course, but the idea is that the link is domain.com/home/forum and domain.com/home/groups, etc. I just choose something generic to name the general profile where I put all the content I create.

Of course, using the Link Mapper module you can make domain.com/forum go to domain.com/home/forum so the url is even easier to remember.
