Fixed the problem, moved the site away from godaddy. My JR4 sites always worked fine. Their support told me that files I specifically gave them ftp links to didnt actually exist on the server and that the htaccess was causing problems with data folder. So I simply moved to JBServers and everything is fine. Thanks for the help.

I will contact them and try that. I am digging JR5 and if I can get the image and gallery thing working I see moving alot of my clients to JR5 based sites. Will keep posted. Thanks

Yes anything I have tried to uplaod are proper image files. Not really a different question as I would guess they are related since both deal with the same images, anything uploaded. That new error I noticed today while working on a PC.

Checked the tmp directory and it is writeable, shows that GD is enabled. Another strangeness that I am guessing is related is that when trying to upload an image on a PC (usually use a Mac) I get the following "File has an invalid extension() - it should be one of png, gif, jpg, jpeg."

It is. I have hosted with them for 10 years with hardly any issues. Have a couple dozen domains I am thinking of moving into JR5 sites hopefully don't have to move them all to a new host.

Just moving into JR5 from being a long time JR4 user. I am having an issue with all of my Profile images showing. The following are the supposed paths to the images but there are no such folders on the server (users,event or gallery). I did find the event and gallery photos on the server in the media folder so they did upload properly just not linking right on the pages. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
