Foxy Cart Bug With Quotas In Shopping Cart

No im not seeing any problems, My foxy cart is now live as of last night. My issue was resolved as I mentioned above, when i deleted all the quotas i renamed and creating new quotas with the same names. In order for you to reproduce the issue, you will need to rename a quota, then add that same renamed quota to the shopping cart and you should see the above error from the foxy shopping cart that says "Cart Validation Error: name".

I had cleared all caches from admin area on site and cleared all browser caches numerous times and ran system checks. I even tested it in different browsers to make sure it wasn't a browser issue. Brian your are absolutely right the name did change in the database, i found this out during testing cause I was using the quota loop code to test the issue. when I used that code, the quotas did show the correct new renamed quotas. The problem was that when you clicked on any of the new renamed quotas, to add to the pop up shopping cart, it would give you the "Cart Validation Error: name". Also, during my testing when that kept happening, i went and tried it from the subscription page inside the members area within the foxy cart browser page where you cancel or upgrade your subscriptions and it gave the same errors there as well. The only way I was able to fix the error was to delete the renamed subscriptions and create it from new and not renamed.

Earlier I ran into some issues while I was testing foxy cart. The issue was when I created Subscription quotas on the custom subscription page I created for visitors to sign up, for a paid account when they are joining my site. I'm bringing this to you guys attention because some people may need the answers to this and also it is a bug.

The issue is when you create quotas for a custom subscription page with foxy cart, and A customer or user chooses a quota and add it to the shopping cart, they get A error that say "Cart Validation Error: name" Or A Blank cart with no quota with zeros. The reason behind this is that you renamed your subscription quotas and the foxy cart system seems to only be picking up the old name you had before you changed it, so it sees all your renamed quotas as a non existing quota. You will not get these errors with newly created quotas, but for quotas that you renamed/changed the name. Solution, simply copy all quota plan info and delete them. Then simply, Create new quotas with the same quota names, no need to change the name of the quotas if you don't want to. The error only occurs when you use quotas that have been renamed. These are the issues I ran into today when I were testing foxy cart paypal gateway for subscriptions, It actually made me think the subscription urls were not working. Hope this helps for many that are having issues with foxy cart subscription url links.

Thanks @brian, that solved the issue. My site was password protected, cause im still building it, almost finished. So that was the issue, everything is working properly with transactions from the site end.

There is one issue that you guys may want to check into, i went to --> payments --> Transactions and clicked the modify button to modify a transaction and tried the delete button also next to it, while being logged in with my master administration account and when I click the button modify or delete button, nothing happens, i'm not able to modify or delete a transaction from the payments section of my master admin profile account. I have tried this in all browsers chrome, safari and mozilla. The buttons are there and are clickable, but nothing happens when you click them. I also made sure my site was not password protected as well.

Thanks @michael for responding and helping. Yes when I visit the link i see "Invalid Foxycart Data".The module is installed and activated in my website admin panel. What I notice yesterday, was that the files foxycart/webhook, dont exist in my cpanel directory and they are not in my downloaded zip package jrFoxyCart-1.1.8 that I downloaded from you guys. I purchased the foxy cart module from the marketplace by it self, not part of a bundle.

Foxy Cart Issue - Please Help

I have followed the exact steps from here

The problem is that im getting Data Feed errors on the Foxy Cart Admin side.The error is coming from the url link I have in the advanced settings that reside on the same page as the api code on foxy cart site. The data feed url code is http://www.mysite.com/foxycart/webhook. www.mysite.com has my real site. This is the same link you have in the documentation above link. Basically i'm getting xml data feed errors from that link and also i'm not getting returned information to the buyer account on my site or my admin account on my site and the buyer subscription is not getting marked as purchased on my site in the buyers account. Here is the error code below that im getting on the foxy cart administration side on there site.
DataFeed Failed: (215377475) 2014-02-22 14:18:17 No data returned for http://mysite.com/foxycart/webhook [401] The payments are getting through to foxy cart, but just not returning back to my site and updating my system.

Please Note: That I have checked my api info and all other settings correctly for hours. Also, this data link url code doesn't exist in my cpanel directory,http://www.mysite.com/foxycart/webhook. Please Help I have been struggling with this all day.

I would like to change the default page for artist as well, but wish not to allow artist to upload background images to there profile. Before I purchase the Profile Tweak Module you have posted above, does it allow me to allow artist to change there default profile page and not allow them to upload A background image to there profile? These are entirely 2 different settings and the admin should have the option to choose which setting they prefer.
