Possible Photo Album Bug?

Using Jamroom

The link seems to be wrong, it is...
https://americymru.net/ceri-shaw/photoalbum/hidden-houses-of-wales
...when it should be...
https://americymru.net/ceri-shaw/photoalbum/15/hidden-houses-of-wales
...so it goes to the profile.

Maybe the way the url is constructed is wrong in some template?

Comparing template code when using cloned skin

Using Jamroom

I am new using Jamroom and just getting used to things. I am using cloned skin and the original one got some template updates.

Is there some easy way to compare updated template codes to your cloned skin templates? Similarly as the compare button for custom templates inside the skin?

Or do you use ftp to make the updated the default template in your cloned skin and then use the compare button?

Or do you use some 3rd party program to compare codes?

Limiting RSS Feed

Using Jamroom

I tried the truncate code
|truncate:20:"...":false
from above post for my rss feed, but it would not shorten the text.

Anyone else with better luck?

Embedded pictures when moving from Ning to Jamroom?

Ning To Jamroom

Thanks for the info.

Are the embedded pictures connected to the uploading user similarly as pictures in albums?

How do they show up in blog posts, is the html automatically changed to display them or is work needed?

Embedded pictures when moving from Ning to Jamroom?

Ning To Jamroom

As I understand it, user pictures can be imported from Ning and in Jamroom they are connected to the user/profile that originally uploaded them in Ning.

What happens to pictures that were uploaded directly to blog posts or forum posts in Ning, do they get imported? "Embedded" pictures might the right term?

If those pictured do not get imported, does the html that was used to display them stay in blog posts?

Some basic SSL questions with Jamroom hosting

Jamroom Hosting

Well I get the "yellow lock" in latest Firefox version as in the attached picture (so some parts of the page are not encrypted). After logging in all inside pages get the "green lock."

But the Jamroom.net site gets the "green lock" in all pages, so there is something different how the encryption is done, just trying to figure out the differences.

Of course Jamroom probably does not have or need domain forwarding when you have your site on your own servers, but if I use forwarding will it cause something like this?

Sorry if this feels like unnecessary, like I said I a very novice about encryption.

Some basic SSL questions with Jamroom hosting

Jamroom Hosting

Sorry I was a bit unclear, I got a domain name and there is a "domain forward" from my local service provider to the Ning site, so it shows up as www.mysite.com and I would like the Jamroom site do that also.

There was not much about SSL in the documentation and I am still unsure how it works. Is the whole site encrypted? Or just some pages?

I would like it to be as clear as possible to avoid any security related questions from users. And Google seems to be moving to favoring encrypted sites in it's search results also:
http://www.eweek.com/security/google-to-ramp-up-warnings-for-sites-that-use-http.html

For example here: https://pmp-art.com/ the front page comes up as not fully encrypted (and it even loaded a separate warning page on my phone browser), desktop Firefox giving it a "yellow lock" encryption and Chrome info button says that the page is encrypted but the info on pages could be changed. "Inside" pages of the site seem to get the encryption fully. That sort of thinks will probably bring out questions from users that I would rather avoid.
