Live Sites with GoogleMaps module?

Using Jamroom

Thanks for the link, that already gave me ideas :). Using several maps instead of putting everything in the same one works nicely with events.

Live Sites with GoogleMaps module?

Using Jamroom

Anyone running the GoogleMaps module? Please post a link.

Just interested to see what might be accomplished with it.

I am currently using maps with just simple html image usemaps for making them clickable. They are hard to update, but also they don't suffer from problems with Google updating their stuff, so carefully considering a change :).

Embedding Iframe

Installation and Configuration

Where you are trying to add it?

I had a similar problem with forum posts, for example if you have a single forum on your site, you need to have the iframe allowed for the forum owner quota also, not just for normal user quota.

Web/HTML version for newsletter?

Suggestions

Is there a possibility or plans to have the Jamroom newsletter with link to web version for those who can't see the correct version in email program?

For me most of the newsletters I get (all sorts of newsletters, not talking about Jamroom here), depending which machine I happen to read them, pictures are usually broken and I gave up a long time ago to try get the settings so that I could see them.

So having the usual "Can't see pictures? Go to web version here" -type link at the top of the Jamroom newsletter would pretty good option to have.

Site Builder and Mobile Devices

Jamroom Developers

One vote from me too for this if you are considering to make changes, I would also love to be able to make a different version of the front page for mobile devices in Site Builder.

For example I am running a three column front page with the center column wide with news and side columns narrow for several different types of content. That works well for desktop browsers, the center column with news takes the immediate attention.

For mobile devices with one column shown the news are very far down in the page. Being able to change the order of the widgets would help a lot. Hiding some would also be a good option to have.

Mobile View Of Comments Running Off Screen?

Using Jamroom

I think that is caused by the long link alone, not the video, same thing happens in forum posts also for mobile. I made a ticket about this a while ago and there was some talk about automatic link shortening, but I don't think it has been implemented.

possible profile domains bug?

Installation and Configuration

For correct Facebook share information after you make changes, run the Object Debugger in
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/

It might take several times with the "Fetch new scrape information" before the Facebook system notices the changes, especially if there are new pictures. But it is way faster with the Debugger than waiting for them to notice the changes without it.

ShareThis module as a widget in Site Builder?

Suggestions

I was wondering if ShareThis module could be "added" to the Site Builder so that it would be available in the editor as a widget in the future?

It would be pretty useful if the share icons could be easily added to the site builder pages, especially in those sites with lots of such pages.
