Daily Limit for Image Uploads

Ning To Jamroom

Thanks, folks!

I never would have found it without you :)

It was already installed (so it didn't show up when I searched the marketplace) and though it is Active it doesn't show on the ACP under Profiles (or anywhere else for that matter). I found it by following the link from my Installed Modules.

Should I put in a ticket as a display bug?

In the meantime, I'm busy setting up new limits!

Daily Limit for Image Uploads

Ning To Jamroom

Thanks, Paul!

Thank you, Joanna. I've looked in the Marketplace and can't actually find Profile Daily Limits. Maybe because I'm still using JR5? Maybe because I need a coffee before my search? ;) I'll keep looking.

ETA: I found it and it's already installed. The weird thing is that it doesn't show up on the ACP which is why I didn't know that I had it.

Daily Limit for Image Uploads

Ning To Jamroom

Back on NIng we had a daily limit set for the number of photos a member could upload. This made the administrators' job much easier as it automatically stopped those members who wanted to upload 100's of photos a day.

I couldn't find anything similar on JR and I'm hoping I just missed it.

If not, what would be the best way of implementing this?

Thanks!

Can I move discussions from a group to my site's community forum?

Could I have an invitation for this please. Thanks!

Changing Images

Profile Badges

I'd like to replace the images provided with custom ones that I've designed.

I used the ACP to override the defaults with custom and have set it to Active but I can't get the custom image to display. I've also tried clearing the Image Caches with no luck.

Can I actually use the ACP to do this or should I FTP my new images into the img folder?

Thanks!

Hosting Payments made via PayPal

In Canada, a PayPal account can be backed up by a bank account and/or credit card so there's never a problem sending money if you have those.

The real beauty of PayPal for me is that I typically receive funds in USD (site donations for example). These funds remain in USD and are available for payments made in USD.

I hate paying "foreign transaction fees" charged by my credit card, especially on regular monthly purchases.

Ah well, the joys of international commerce :)

Thanks for your response, Brian.

I looked up the PayPal debit card and found:

Quote: Availability. The PayPal Debit Card is no longer available to PayPal Account holders in Canada. This Agreement applies to current PayPal Debit Card (“Debit Card”) holders

Dang! :)
