Using Jamroom

Hello all,

I recall reading that 'anything we see here in the JamRoom Support Forum is a feature we should be able to implement on our site(s)'.

I would LOVE to be able to offer the signature option on our site.

We are a JamRoom 6, Ningja skin, using JRdiscussion.

Is it possible to implement this?

If so, please advise how?

Thank you,

option to 'copy' a prior event listing

Suggestions

Now that I've finally gotten several recurring classes posted, I can SHOW you why this is so frustrating for me.

Please see the attached screenshot. You can see that there are several instances of PEP! [Practice English Persistently] classes on the calendar.
As more students enroll, more class times are added.
As members come and go, as schedules for a majority of active PEP! participants change, modifications are made in the schedule.

At least six different instances of PEP! times are added each month.

I don't like to schedule these too many months in advance because I often have to make changes in the schedule (so if I post 3 or 4 months in advance, I end up with a lot of nuisance editing).

If the 'copy'/'clone' feature were available, I would be a very happy camper/JamRoomer.

For your further consideration (please).
Thank you,

Ning To Jamroom

OK. I did it manually.
I'll close this ticket.

Just an FYI... we'll check on this when we can (and will update this discussion thread).
Joanna and I (the 2 master admins on our site) both have heavy schedules and a lot of 'not available' time slots this week and next.
It should give you all a little bit of a break. :)

Quote: Maybe this is something I'm not familiar with, but I hope you know we're working hard to get fixes out as soon as we can. I understand you might be frustrated - we're working to get JR6 out of beta as soon as possible. Thanks!

Oh, my!

Please, Brian, everyone, I apologize for any miscommunication I've caused by my usage of 'sigh'. It is a family thing. Several of my family members use this word liberally, in all sorts of situations.

Please note that I've never used it here to mean a direct frustration with the

Quote: brilliant, wonderful, awesome, amazing, fantastic

team here at Jamroom, nor toward any of the other JamRoomers.

It's a word I use to mean many things, and it's usage here is an indication of how 'inept' I feel I am, of how I wish I weren't submitting so many help requests.

We have many very pleased members today after this fix you've managed.

I will do my best not to use the 'sigh' word again here in the forums.

Apologies,
Holly

Sigh...
The challenge is when she (and several other unhappy members of our site) CLICKS on the hyperlink that DOES come through, it leads to a page not found.

Here is an example.

http://lewwwp.com/community/main-forum/12485/in-which-case-we-can-use-an-infinitive-after-the-verb-to-be-am-is-are-was-were#cm228989

This link takes me to a "Page not found," too.

This is not an isolated incident.

Many links come through 'looking right' (and generated by our Jamroom site) but then do not prove to be correct links?

Maybe this is related to the beta Jamroom 6?
