Move Comment Box

Design and Skin Customization

Hello :)

Is it possible to move a Comment Box from the bottom of the page to the top, to have it at the beginning of all comments?

Now when I want to add a comment, I have to scroll down. In many discussions we have many replies, so sometimes scrolling down to find that box takes time.

I would be grateful for any tip how to do it and where to look for a code?
We are using NingJa skin.

Thanks in advance.

JamRoom 6 Latest Activity 'Array' errors?

Using Jamroom

@Douglas - we were using the code suggested by @Michael here:

https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/new_posts/43430/data-browser-truncates-out-timeline-profile-id-s-that-i-need#p43510

It added a tiny trash bin to delete entries from the timeline.
If it takes the same steps to add that code to the template, I can do it.

Mention @member_name

Using Jamroom

I tried to mention members in a blog post, in a group discussion and in comments on the site I work:

http://lewwwpcom.jamroomhosting.com/

Sometimes it works, sometimes not, please see attachments.

Mention @member_name

Using Jamroom

Hello :)
A tiny challenge occurred in Jamroom 6.
I was able to mention members in posts using "@member-name."
Now this useful tool doesn't work.
I hope it will be easy to resolve.
It's a NingJa skin.

PS. Great work :)

Product Detail in Help section

Using Jamroom

Hi :)
I work now in upgraded version Jamroom 6 and when I choose from ACP any module, from Help section I like learning more about that module from "Product Detail."

Now, after the upgrade, it takes me to "Create a New Ticket."
It's in NingJa skin.

how to 'lock' main menu bar?

Design and Skin Customization

Thank you @Michael

I think that for a while the easiest solution will be to make a specific height of our header, and move top of the page.
Some members will see bigger header, but others will have a chance to get to needed tabs without problems.

how to 'lock' main menu bar?

Design and Skin Customization

Hi Michael :)
In smaller devices the problem is that the tabs from the top 'menu' go down below our blueish header. When members will go for example to our Forum, tabs from header and tabs from Forum will be on each other. It's difficult to get the correct tab.
When I changed site.com/core/skin_admin/style/skin=jrNingja/file=header.css/section=advanced to "auto" then our blueish header went down. I see tabs from Menu, but I don's see tabs from Forum. And in many places, things which are at the top of a page will be hidden.
It's not a problem when your screen is quite big. But as you know, many people work on tablets, smartphones, and for them, it might be a challenge.

Is it a way to put all tabs from the header/menu in two lines but still at the header, not below it. If this is a code you added in the first part of your response, I'll try to do it soon and check.

Thanks for your help.

Editing Activity Timeline

Design and Skin Customization

@strumelia Thank you :)
I wonder why it didn't want to work yesterday for me.
Today I also wanted to give up because when I did it in my index_activity.tpl it didn't want to work, either.
In my SiteBuilder I loaded a default template and added the code there.
YAY, it works perfectly now.

You're all awesome. :)
