I wish I could print out a {brain_debug} so you can see everything I know and find what's missing ;)

Yes, I found the debug along my meandering. That is a great help. I have and Admin only menu in Site Builder that leads to a test page when I print this stuff out for my viewing pleasure.

I'm in the Ningja profile_sidebar.tpl and I don't see the magic of finding the "profile being viewed" to user id translation.

If I just use
{$_ut = jrCore_db_get_item('jrUser', $_user_id)}
I'll get *my* location on every profile?

Ahahaha, this is the same problem as https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/my_posts/43496/display-signup-form-field-on-profile

I thought it was displaying the Geolocation from the IP logged when this user's profile logged in. I was brutally mistaken unless everyone is from Oregon!

I went back to the editable location form. Thanks for the help!

I'm using the default Signup field. With the Form Designer, I added a field user_about. I would like to display this field on the user's profile.

I'm in skin/profile_sidebar.tpl (my location of choice)
What's the syntax to display that new field (user_about from the signup form field).

If I may add-
Elise, you have pulled together a JR site in an astonishingly short length of time, as far as I can tell.
I wish I were as fast a learner as you seem to be!
There is a whole world of more JR tools and functions and options that you don't even know about yet- that you'll discover as you continue to run and tweak your site. It's probably too much for anyone to learn in a mere month no matter how much reading you do. On ning the features and options allowed were mostly decided for you already, and limited...so a ning site is indeed initially faster to throw together.
One morning you'll log in and realize you don't actually have any pressing questions or site code tweaks on your 'To Do' list for that day... days like that will then begin to happen more often.

Yes! This happened today! I had less than 10 questions and I almost went into anaphylactic shock :)
I love these days.

I mentally send thank you note to all those who have helped me along the way.
