Reversing the order of replies to forum discussion (newest first)

Using Jamroom

Some of my discussions are 15 miles long and user have to do a lot of scrolling when replying to the latest comment.

My users are asking if we can reverse the order of the replies (newest first) like they had in the group discussion.

Possible?
Thanks!

PS: The "support module" is the BEST EVER to manage all the user requests and problems. Love it!

User reports "Stay Logged In" doesn't work

Using Jamroom

Strumelia:
In your Users module (jrUser), under Global/Accountsettings tab... do you have these settings as you want them? see screenshot.
As Douglas says- your member should check her browser settings- sometimes people have their browsers set to delete cookies every time they leave a page or site. Or she may have to enter your site URL in her browser to allow cookies for your site.

Thanks for the screenshot! I changed the cookies as permanent and the timeout as yours. Maybe that will help.

She says she has cookies enabled and mine is the only web site that doesn't keep her logged in.

User reports "Stay Logged In" doesn't work

Using Jamroom

I'm assuming we're using a cookie to figure out if a user wants to stay logged in? She says she clicked that box numerous time and she's always logged out. After logging in, she's forwarded to her profile, not the place she was trying to reach.

I know this works in general because it works for me, but I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on what to check to help her troubleshoot this?

Users can't write blog posts?

Using Jamroom

ACP -> MODULES -> PROFILES -> BLOG -> QUOTA CONFIG -> Max Items has 0 which means unlimited.
ACP -> MODULES -> CORE -> SYSTEM CORE -> QUOTA CONFIG -> Media Space = 10mb.

My usera dont have videos or streaming. Do their space is text and pictures if they uploaded any.
Is there an SQL query to see what is using up their space?

Users can't write blog posts?

Using Jamroom

Ok, i found the problem. It was not in a template, it was in the form designer that allows you to change the visibility of button depending on your group. I wanted to block users from creating groups but I also blocked them from creating blogs.

There is however one user how also has a blog issue but he gets a different error message.
"I have a problem with posting blogs. It says I don't have enough space and for me to delete in order to post. So, I deleted all but 1 and then changed the blog into a new one. So I just seem to only have space for one blog"

Does anyone know where this message could be coming from?

Can I move discussions from a group to my site's community forum?

paul:
Thanks to Holly for sponsoring the initial development of this module, and to Keith Mauck for its enhancements. Looks like its going to be useful to others as well.

OMG I LOVE THAT MODULE! I realized that groups had introduced a lot of complexity in my site that wasn't need. Thanks to @holly-dilatush and @paul

Users can't write blog posts?

Using Jamroom

I have ran the integrity check.

Yes, it is very likely I did something in the template while I was trying to prevent my user from creating new groups.

I'm checking.
