BTW, you will find other "email/notification" templates in other modules, like jrForum or jrFollow etc...where you can customize what the notification emails say when they go out to your members.
Once you do one, it's too much fun not to do the other emails too.

How to change landing page after log-in?

I can't remember how to change what page people are directed to after they log in. Can this be different for different quotas?

for example, I have a "New Member" quota and I'd like them to be directed immediately to the discussion forum where they can introduce themselves. Is that possible or do I need to direct all my members to that page when they log in?

I want to change the email message that members get when their membership is activated. Can someone remind me where I would find that?

Suggestions

Our challenge is that we really do have members joining from all over the world... so some of the locations where we are getting suspect visitors are also where we might get legitimate folks wanting to join.

Is there a page on JR where I can find info about the best ways to deal with spammers, how to use the Spam Blocker module effectively, etc...? Or any hot tips from this fine group?

PS We are glad to report that we are now completely "Ning-Free"! I helped to move four Ning networks into three Jamroom sites and we couldn't be happier. Plus you're teaching this middle-aged non-coding women new tricks and keeping my brain cells active.

Thank you for posting both of those. It turns out that I don't have a button that says "Enable Chat Access" - now what do I do? (see attached)

And yes, I did activate the module. :-)

hmmm... not seeing the little chat tab in the lower right of my screen. I think I set up the quotas, saved the changes, and then reset caches. But I still don't see it. Can someone post a screen shot so I know what I'm looking for?
