Link audio genres to a search result

Design and Skin Customization

Hi Douglas,

Yes, that is the code!

I'm using jrNova 1.4.9. I'm working on this website: http://sermonescristianos.net/jr5/

The genre list is under "Usuarios En LĂnea" section (at bottom left)

Link audio genres to a search result

Design and Skin Customization

Hi,

I've recently put a list of audio genres in my index website. The code was provided by Gary on this thread:

https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/design-and-skin-customization/28180/tag-cloud-module-specific#last

The problem is I'd like to have a link for each one them. I want users be able to link an audio genre and get a page with all audios/songs with the same genre. I mean, filter all audios with with the same genre.

That was possible on JR4 and it'd be great to have the same feature on JR5.

Please, let me know if that is possible!

Thanks-.

Tag Cloud - Module specific

Design and Skin Customization

Yeah, that worked! Thanks.

Now, I'd like to have a link for each genre, so users can filter audio by genres.

I think it's possible :)

Tag Cloud - Module specific

Design and Skin Customization

Hello,

One question: how can I show all audio_genre values on my index? I want to have some kind of list (or tag cloud) with all audio genres.

Is that possible?

THanks!

Allow import without video file

Installation and Configuration

Hello guys,

Does anyone know how to avoid the video import error when it doesn't find a video file?

This is the case: I want to import from JR4 many video post without a video file. They are just embed codes. But everytime I run the jrImport module (JR5) it throws errors because the video file is required.

Paul told me I had to edit the jrImport/include/import_videos.php file. I tried it, but could not make it work..

Any help?

Thanks :)

Import Videos Error

Using Jamroom

Thanks Paul, but unfortunately I could not make it work :(

One question: Should I replace "if" with "if(1)".. Is that ok?

I did it and also removed the Get File code, but the import process never started..

Thanks again.

Import Videos Error

Using Jamroom

Hello,

I want to import videos from my JR4 website.

Look at this video post on my JR4 website:

http://www.sermonescristianos.net/Jesus_Adrian_Romero/video_164.php

As you can see, the video is from Youtube. Users paste the embed code in a custom field I created.
For that site, I don't allow video file uploads. That's why users enter embed codes.

Well, I want to have the same feature on my new JR5 installation.
For this, I've selected only the "Import Videos" option on Import page. But the problem is it is not working..

Look at the attached image, it says ERROR: No video file. How can I fix it?

I've already created a custom field called "video_embed". This is the same name for the JR4 custom fields.

1. I want JR5 import video posts even if they don't have a file attached.
2. Also, want to import the custom field.

Any ideas?
Thanks!!

Create Radio Station

Using Jamroom

It seems like a better and faster solution that way. How many songs can I upload? Is it on my server or on yours? where do I sign up? thanks!

Create Radio Station

Using Jamroom

Hey Paul, I've investigating the playlist module. And now I've 3 questions:

1. Can I add full albums to my playlist? I mean, instead of adding one by one.
2. Is there any setting to enable random play for radio player? Maybe a piece of code just for radio players?
3. This is about audio module: I've set the "MP3 Bit Rate" to 128. But, what happens if I upload a 256kbps song? I know Jamroom will convert it, but is my original 256kbps song deleted after that? or it will be saved on the server too?

Thanks!
