Hide download button for a particular quota

Installation and Configuration

Yes I did it, but it doesn't work.

The button appears in all quotas, even when I choose some of them.

Also when I select the quotas and set the Group to 'no group restriction, I have to login to see the download button.

It should work the way you mention, I guess.. but not for me :(

pd: I get this message when saving buttons changes: invalid button offset

What does it means?

Hide download button for a particular quota

Installation and Configuration

Hello,

I've read this thread but I don't find a solution for me there:

https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/installation-and-configuration/34570/question-on-allowing-streaming-but-limiting-downloads-to-specific-quotas-or-profile-types

I've created a new quota. I want to block downloads for this quota ONLY.

On that thread @paul shared this piece of code:

{if $_user.profile_quota_id == x}
    // Download button code here
{/if}

But, this is the code that build my buttons (attached image):

{jrCore_item_list_buttons module="jrAudio" field="audio_file" item=$item}

So, how can I hide the download button just for this new quota (id 9)

Delete multiple blog posts

Using Jamroom

Hello, is there anyway to delete several blogs posts ?

I go to Profile blog > Tools > DataStore browser and I can see all blog posts, but I have to delete one by one.

I can't see them on the database. I use phpMyAdmin for that.

Any solution? thanks!!

Are there still lofi and hifi audio options in JR5?

Installation and Configuration

One more @michael, what if I upload a 128kbps mp3 file? the system will create a 64kbps version for me?

or.. how does it work? I'd like to understand that process.

thankss

Installation and Configuration

1. So if I delete the original, the download button will stop working?

2. Do you know how to scan the website and delete all .original. extension files?

thanks-

Installation and Configuration

brian:
What I would recommend doing in this case is to upload the MP3 file as a 320kbps (this will be the "original") and then the system will create the 128kbps version during the conversion process.

That way you end up with 128kbps and 320kbps version of the audio file and can make both available, without impacting charting, etc.

@brian, I'd like to keep only the 128kbps version of my audio files. Is that possible?

I want this because of the mp3 sizes. I want to have the smallest size mp3 as possible.

Can JR5 delete the original mp3? I prefer to have a 3mb file before one of 5mb on my server (or worst, have both)

Thanks-

Installation and Configuration

andrusito:

I've already set to 'NO' the Block file download option at Audio Support > Global Config > General Settings.

That option is unchecked.
