Users can NOT signup to a subscription quota, they'll need to be in a regular/free quota before they can subscribe and automatically be moved to that subscription quota.

I'm not sure which module your referring to, I'm not aware of an "Uploaded Images" module.

You can check out how it is done in FollowMe skin and apply it to your skin if you like.

Update the Marketplace module and then run the Integrity Check tool with "repair module" checked, reset your cache and then update the rest of the modules.
