Message to Paul About the New Nova Skin

Hi Paul and All (rhymes, LOL)...

If I install the new NOVA skin, will that wipe out all the customization you did and the Terms of Use and other docs I drafted at the bottom of the page... https://musicians.exchange

In case you recall, when we first set this up we did the top buttons as part of the initial install because I had pretty much migrated the site myself.

If that's the case, I would pick a new skin, but don't have the time to customize (I'm in a few hairy cases now). So, if I wanted to sign back up for support is that possible?

You're the best Paul! There were actually two problems going on. LOL. I hate multiple issues!

The Our Sponsors picture was not showing because Nova Theme was updated and the picture ad file I referenced was not in the new directory... So, I referenced it properly.

Second, I never would have known that unless I knew to turn off ad blocker, and then look at the url's of the picture files.

No ad blocker. Paul, look at the attached pics. Problem still exists. Look at the above 1st pic which is a screen shot of the Global Config for Nova. There is no spot to enter in the large or small ad codes. At the site, "Star.Law" which is the 480 ad at top shows but the small ad in the Our Sponsors block is gone. THERE IS NO PLACE IN THE GLOBAL CONFIG TO ENTER THIS INFO ANYMORE. EVERYTHING IS GRAYED OUT. ALSO, Nova Dark seems to be gone. SOMETHING HAPPENED IN THE LAST UPDATE. If you like, I would pay for support to go through this and get it working.

Hi Paul. Hi Brian. Hi All.
OK, ya got me again LOL. Didn't notice but after the last update, the "Our Sponsors" Box on our Home Page (you know, the ones for which our paid supporters show their logos) stopped working. The site is at https://musicians.exchange . THE SKINS GLOBAL CONFIG (picture attached) doesn't give you the ability to enter your ads anymore... Is that the problem, or, is there another place to configure "Our Sponsors." I've attached a picture of the missing logos on the home page...

Just installed php 7.4, and I'm getting the APCu error in the system integrity check. I am the chief cook and bottle washer for php.ini and adding the extensions... I use EasyApache4. Could you kindly walk me through what extension needs to be added, and what lines I need to add to php.ini. AGAIN, I AM THE TECH... LOL. I have no where else to turn... and I cannot understand what needs to be installed as an extension, and what lines I need to add to php.ini. Thanks gents (and ladies).

After the last update, My Terms of Service and Coppa Policy Templates do not show. My site is https://Musicians.Exchange and the template files show up in the Nova Dark Skin templates. I reset the caches but nothing. What did you guys do now? This was working perfectly! I'm using Nova Dark and the templates are still intact and have a checkmark next to them as being active... but when you click the hyperlinks at the bottom NOTHING!

Did the upgrade from JR4 to JR6

Hopefully Paul will read this... or anyone else who is familiar. My upgrade went perfectly, and my JR6 site is fine. HOWEVER, I REMEMBER THERE WAS A SETTING SOMEWHERE THAT CONNECTED JR4 to JR6. I think I turned it off (had something to do with log-ins and being transported to the new site I think), but now I want to make sure that setting is off because i don't need the JR4 site running anymore and want to take it down. Does anyone remember what settings I need to turn off to separate these Siamese Twins. BTW, hope everyone is safe and healthy. Best wishes. Elliot

Hi Paul! Hope you're safe. Take a look at https://manycam.com , or OBS podcasting software. Jamroom doesn't display or sound right through the screen capture (actually, a URL capture)... Would be neat to be able to podcast it as if you were at the site, or on the phone better. Just hasn't been thought of yet I suppose.
