Filesize issues.

Using Jamroom

Hello, I have my PHP.ini set to
memory_limit = 1024M
post_max_size = 512M
upload_max_filesize = 512M

But I'm still getting Jamroom error "filename.xx is too large, maximum file size is 5.0MB."

Troubleshooting:
1. restarted server
2. ran integrity check on Jamroom
3. verified the Global config
4. Did live tech support with hosting company (inmotion), and they verified my PHP.ini is set properly.

Any ideas?

Thanks as always!

Editor formatting stripped in blog for everyone but Admin

Using Jamroom

Hi @michael ,

Here is the text of my email to you:

Regarding this support topic:
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/using-jamroom/55753/editor-formatting-stripped-in-blog-for-everyone-but-admin

Site: www.meanfriends.com
User: Eric Horton
Password: *********

User: admin
Password: *********

Strangest thing I noticed. For the admin user, always logged in with username and password – TinyMCE formatting always works. For Eric Horton account(this goes for all of the other users), we authenticate using Facebook. So, in order to provide you with a username and password for my Eric Horton user account, I had to actually create a password.

I created the password for that account, and tested the login. I figured while I was logged in, I’d test out the TinyMCE format. It worked! So, I then logged out and logged in with Facebook authentication, tried TinyMCE formatting, and it DIDN’T work. Causal relationship?

Cheers,
~E

Maybe a clue...it works on the comments section of the blog (where the html code is still stripped....)

Using Jamroom

It's the weirdest thing, still not working, and no weird permissions or error logs.

Editor formatting stripped in blog for everyone but Admin

Using Jamroom

TinyMCE is available for Blogs, but formatting (bold, list items, underline, italics, etc) are all stripped out for users, with the exception of Admin.

I've been looking for any type of permissions setting, and can't seem to find it.

Cheers,
~E

"Media URL could not be loaded."

Using Jamroom

It shows the list of media available, but not the media files themselves.

Thanks Brian! I gave it a try, but get the same error! (see attached screenshot)

The regular video player in Site Builder works, but I like the functionality of using the Template Code Widget (setting auto play)

"Media URL could not be loaded."

I am getting that error using this code in the site builder:

{jrCore_media_player module="jrVideo" items=$_items type="jrVideo_player_dark" autoplay="true" search="video_feature_section = Home Page"}

The same videos playback fine on the profile.

OneAll not posting updates from Jamroom Timeline to Twitter/Facebook

Using Jamroom

I changed OneAll setting to "Publish Pages - Post and comment like a page." and that seems to have done the job. Odd, yeah?
