How to use the notifications dropdown menu - more clarity is needed

Using Jamroom

I understand why you changed to a drop-down menu, but I prefer the idea of showing all current settings on the page. I think our users would find it quicker and more understandable. We don't have very many notifications for standard users.

Searching with AND operator

Using Jamroom

I've just tried this again and it is working as expected now.
Perhaps it was because I had only just applied your update, and tried it before clearing cache and running an integrity check and repair. Anyway, all good now.

Thanks for your help.

Searching with AND operator

Using Jamroom

@brian Thank you very much for this fix - it's going to save me so much time!
We have the page jumper on our gallery, and one thing I noticed is that the first page of results initially shows as 1/n where n is 'total pages in the gallery' and not 'total pages of search results'. Moving forward to page 2 corrects this.

Photo Album Sequence

Using Jamroom

Photo Albums are great and used extensively on our site.
It is possible to change the order of photo albums as shown in the Photo Album tab of the profile.
However, when adding an image to an album, the pop-up box always lists albums in the order they were created.
Would it be possible to update the order of the albums in the pop-up box so that it matches the order defined in the Photo Album tab?

Searching with AND operator

Using Jamroom

Sure - here's one https://pmp-art.com/gallery/ss=green%20AND%20apple

It returned (amongst others) this one https://pmp-art.com/steve-lyddon/gallery/86980 which has only "green" in title, description and tags, and this one https://pmp-art.com/mido/gallery/135305 which has only "apple".

I notice our search hasn't converted the spaces to "+" signs as shown in your url.

Searching with AND operator

Using Jamroom

Has anything changed in the search function recently (in the past month). I used to be able to use the AND operator to search for images with two terms together. This no longer seems to work on our site. Results are returned as though the AND is not there, i.e. AND behaves the same way as OR.

Is this a problem that requires the Search index to be rebuilt?

It would be extremely helpful to have a definitive search guide as suggested by @researchcooperative on the documentation page for Search https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/modules/950/search
I have put something in our documentation but I would like to verify it.

Tag and image links still apply long after being deleted

Using Jamroom

Today I've done the "no link" Images search in quotes. It returned the following which had the "no link" tag deleted 2 or 3 days ago :
https://pmp-art.com/mary-vermersch/gallery/46701/barn-in-the-snow
https://pmp-art.com/sharonrc/gallery/208109/enter-title-here
https://pmp-art.com/zenspun/gallery/208281/end-of-the-day
https://pmp-art.com/leahgee/gallery/213129/enter-title-here
https://pmp-art.com/km425a1/gallery/229059/cherry-blossom
https://pmp-art.com/leahgee/gallery/213133/portrait

That last one had "no link" in the tag cloud after the tag had gone, but I see it has now disappeared from the tag cloud so that's good.

I also did the search on the other tag 'nolink' (without the space or quotation marks), and it is still returning the images I first reported.
https://pmp-art.com/sarah-edmondson/gallery/193048/beautiful-boy has not had a 'nolink' tag for some weeks.
On these next two I deleted the tag when I opened this forum discussion, so 4 days ago, and they are still being returned in the search...
https://pmp-art.com/sparrowshand/gallery/225210/arnika
https://pmp-art.com/sue-pearson/gallery/189193/kitty-walking
and there are a couple of others.
