Order of Galleries on Gallery list

Using Jamroom

Hi Paul.
Sorry, I should have described it better.
We can, as you say, re-order the images within a Photo Album using drag & drop. At the moment we can't do this in a Gallery, but that wasn't actually what I was requesting. I don't know why that doesn't work on our site.

With Photo Albums, we have a feature which allows us to change the order the Photo Albums appear in the list of Albums (as seen on the Photo Album tab). This new order is then reflected in the drop-down list of photo albums that is shown when adding an image to an album.
What I was asking is that we would like the same facility applied to Galleries, so that we can change the order in which Galleries appear on the Gallery tab.
I attach screen shots of the Photo Album list and the Gallery list.

Order of Galleries on Gallery list

Using Jamroom

Hi,
You were kind enough to give us the option to re-order Photo Albums, and to make the drop-down list of photo albums appear in the same order.
Would it be possible to do the same for Galleries?

Uploads count against the upload limit even if cancelled.

Update - Clearing browser cache does reset the upload limit in the case of failed or cancelled uploads.
I should have thought of that.
A lot of our users won't think of it either.

Members have been complaining for a while that they often can't upload their full allowance of images in any one day. I have never been able to reproduce this until now: It appears that if an upload fails or is cancelled, then it still counts as an upload for purposes of the limits.

Can this be changed so that only successful, completed uploads count, please?

Blocking Pins to Pinterest

Yes it's really annoying. So hard to protect people's images. GDPR is no help.

The downside of the htaccess block appears to be that it can block legitimate access from people with a proxy or firewall.

Blocking Pins to Pinterest

Using Jamroom

Yes, that's right @michael - a url such as this https://pmp-art.com/gallery/image/gallery_image/258777/original is not covered by the "nopin" code although the gallery page https://pmp-art.com/lorna-webber/gallery/258777/horse-head-pk is blocked.

Thank you for the information on hotlinking. I will follow it up. I did look into getting the whole site blocked from Pinterest and it seems the only way is with the "nopin" code - other than that it's individual DMCA notices to get pins removed.

Blocking Pins to Pinterest

Using Jamroom

We have blocked pins from our site to Pinterest, by adding the following code to the head area of a page
[less than]meta name="pinterest" content="nopin" [forward slash greater than]
However, it is still possible for people to use "View image" on the gallery detail page and then pin the original photo.
Can we stop this?

Embedding images in a comment on smart phone

Using Jamroom

Thanks for your response.
Most people who comment on group discussions on our site, want to post a picture. I will have to tell them it's not possible on a smart phone. It did used to be a bigger box (a few months ago - see attached) which was just about usable, but now it's just a thin line. Has something changed?

Embedding images in a comment on smart phone

Using Jamroom

When on my PC and I embed an image in a comment, I get a pop-up box which enables me to select and embed the file and all is good.
When I do the same on my smart phone, the pop-up box is tiny and the selection buttons are not visible, so it's not possible to embed anything.
I don't do this often. I did notice some weeks ago that the pop up box was too small, but it was just about possible to scroll it down to get the buttons - now it's too small even to do that.
Is there some setting for the size of the box that I can adjust, please?
