Group Email not sent to all members who accept them.

Hello all.
I've recently raised a support ticket because it appears that some Group members are not receiving Group Emails, even though their notifications are set to "send email" for Group Emails. In these cases, it appears that the Group Email was not generated by the system.
These members are successfully receiving other email notifications from the Group and elsewhere on our site.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. Our groups can be very large, over 1500 members - I don't know if that's a factor.
