how to change default font

Using Jamroom

I see it in the blog... but I'm working with widgets in the site builder and don't see it.... Am I missing it somewhere?

how to change default font

Using Jamroom

How do I change the default font and font size on my jr site? Every page I create starts out with itty bitty font. We want new pages to look like our main page.

It would be great if you could add a couple of buttons to the WYSIWYG Editor (see attached from another site)

Reminder: I don't have a clue about code unless you give me very specific directions.

thanks!
Deb

Great! I think it's working... I tested it out.... I'll let you know how it works for our network hosts.

Getting ready to migrate second Ning site to JR.

Ning To Jamroom

OK. So I may be ready sooner than I thought... Let me think on this and get back to you...

Getting ready to migrate second Ning site to JR.

Ning To Jamroom

It is one of the domains we already have on the server... I need to go in and make sure we have it set up the way we want it. We started doing that last fall and then just left it until now.

Should I have the menu set up to match the menu from the old Ning site before the import? Or should I do that afterwards, when we have the actual pages on the JR site?

I should mention that I'm also trying to juggle a few other things going on besides the migration of the site.... so this may start and stop a few times.... LOL

Getting ready to migrate second Ning site to JR.

Ning To Jamroom

We are getting ready to migrate a second Ning site to JR. It's been quite a while since I did this (about 4 months) and I'm no more tech savvy than I was the last time I did this.... LOL... (although I did try to keep some notes from last time)

Can you remind me about what I need to do to get ready to do this and how to schedule the migration? We definitely want to use your import services so that you (Paul?) can help with the migration again this time.

Thanks!
Deb

Hi Deb - Maybe if your greeters set their profile settings to 'Approve Followers'? They will still get the new member emails but can then reject them as followers.

Good idea, Paul. I will try that.

Just tried that.... didn't seem to work... the new member still automatically followed the greeter....

I misunderstood your previous post, Strumelia... I thought you had figured out a way for greeters to get notification 'without' the automatic Follow.

That's still the goal since, as you said, I don't think our greeters want all new members to follow them.

Strumelia:

Paul, I'm a bit confused- does this module set it so that a 'greeter' would simply be notified that a new user has joined the site...or does it ALSO automatically set them so they are 'following' the new user?
For example, my current moderator's settings are set to notify them of new users, but it doesn't go ahead and set the 'follow' button for the new user, in either direction.

Where did you set that, Strumelia? I would like people to be notified without necessarily being followed in either direction as well.... And i don't want to give them all the powers of a profile admin or a master admin.

Deb

PS and thanks for the tip about the badges!
