The documentation does not make any indication that it would have to be the JR user. You should be able to link the (social) profiles to a jamroom profile as well.

I hope you see the problem with the current implementation: A power user (label) that has multiple profiles (artists) would be forced to post content from all their users feed to a single profile. So you would never be able to post to the social profiles of the artists.

Thats what I'm saying. Couldn't you link you social account in the networks setting to the profile instead of the account?

I don't believe that to be correct simply because you can use oneall to post your feed to your social networks even if you did not use oneall to create your account or log in.

We currently have the ability to switch profiles in jr when logged in as a power user. What I am suggesting is that the page where you connect to your social networks should be profile sensitive vs account sensitive (just like your profile settings are).

It seems that when you associate the oneall social networks it links to the account instead of the profile. Although this works for login, it does not work for sharing.

If you are a power user (label), and you switch to one of your artist profiles, you want to share to the artist's (profile) social network, not the label's social networks (account).

Am I missing something? Is it possible to link the social account to a profile instead of an account? I dont see any way to select a different profile on the social network connection page.

I thought we wanted to avoid modifying core files? Won't this break every time we update jamroom core? Is there a way to modify core files without breaking update?

Using Jamroom

I am getting error"wave file should be a PCM file" when i try to upload audio; even uploading mp3 files. System check shows all ok and did integrity check. What would generate this error?
