Cron server error

Using Jamroom

The server is not being used yet; and it's only configured to as a queue server. Nothing else. I don't see anything in the apache log. Resource utilization is low. Can you tell me where I would see the error logged?

Also, can you confirm what server components must be installed and what ports need to be available on both the the Cron server and the target server?

Cron server error

Using Jamroom

On the cron server, I have the ping to my worker configured. I have a gree light that it is active. And if I hit the url, I can see the response.

However, the cron server gives the error:
The Cron Worker is NOT running - Cron Jobs are not updating

Additionally, nothing shows in the LAST RESPONSE column. I can't tell if its working or not.

Also, not sure what "start cron worker" does.

Caching queries, profiles, and media

Jamroom Developers

Hmm. ok . Thanks.

Did you try to re-load after page was cached? My concern is that some things are being cached and some things aren't. I would think that when the page loads the first five newest artists, that query is cached and we don't need to re-query every time the page load. I'm not sure how long queries caches last. But like i said, for me the artists pop up instantly, while songs take a little longer. I was worried that we are re-querying the server unnecessarily (since it should be cached) and causing a delay.

Anyway, thanks for taking a look.

Caching queries, profiles, and media

Jamroom Developers

I've noticed on my home page http://dev.cleartracks.com, that my artists and labels (profiles)images load instantly, while songs, mixes, and feed item images load slowly.

Is there a difference in how queries are cached by jr for different content types?

Cacheing media file in player.

Jamroom Developers

Additionally, is there any way to ignore the media loading in the page load time?

ffmpeg error

Jamroom Developers

It's actually not a video. What we are trying to do is take the original song image and our 128k mp3 and generate an mp4. This is used to embed in twitter as an audio card.

Like we mentioned, it works with some and not others.

Sending failed files via email.

Future queue operations

Jamroom Developers

Is there a time limit? Someone could set a date days/months/years ahead.

Modifying tiny MCE

Jamroom Developers

The "embed local media" button is broken on my tiny mce editor. It returns an arror
{"notices":[{"type":"cri","text":"Unable to copy modules\/xtStem\/templates\/tab_ajax_stems.tpl to template cache directory: data\/cache\/jrCore"}]}

Mostly because I have custom modules.

Can you let me know how to modify it or disable it?
