jQuery

Where would I put jQuery plugins? Let's say I have a simple jquery snippet like $('.title').hide();

Is there a designated place in the JR backend for this?

Update: I've worked out that I can add to the /skins/MYSKIN/js file, but my guess is no place on the backend admin pages.

thanks

CSS and Stylesheets

Design and Skin Customization

OK, that helps, thank you.
Just to clarify, there is no where in the JR backend where this file is accessible?
I can live with ftp uploads and external editing but some users (i'm thinking less techy Ning refugees) are going to find this hard.
Thanks again

CSS and Stylesheets

Design and Skin Customization

Hi
Yes, I found this already. But my question really was is there one overall stylesheet that I can add my own css to without using this rather restrictive drop menu option for each area of the site?
For example, if you create a child theme in WordPress you would have various php templates etc and one style.css for custom css across the whole site that you can access in the WP admin area.
Thanks

Marketplace Error

Installation and Configuration

Hi
Yes, I have put the Marketplace Email and Marketplace System ID in.
The install is on a normal server (with 100webspace.net) but it's a freebie with my account. But i don't think that should matter in terms of access, only speed.

From the activity log:

[Richard (SP)]: jrCore_load_url: http://www.jamroom.net/networkmarket/browse?type=module&c[]=stable returned code 0 - error #7 (Failed to connect to 192.155.80.32: Permission denied)

Any other suggestions?

CSS and Stylesheets

Design and Skin Customization

I was wondering if there is a place to put all custom css in one place in the backend?

I would imagine its natural home would be in the /core/skin_admin/style/skin=blahblah section but it's not there. I found the following article which suggests that the only way to do this is by uploading a custom style sheet and calling it last in the meta file ...

Thanks

Marketplace Error

Installation and Configuration

Hi all,
I have just installed my Jamroom install and have hit upon an error with the Marketplace (see screengrab).

"An error was encountered trying to communicate with the Active Marketplace
make sure the Marketplace URL is set correctly in Tools -> Marketplace Systems."

So I headed to Tools > Marketplace Systems at /marketplace/systems but what info is it looking for that i don't have? The url is set to http://www.jamroom.net

Cheers
SP
