I can't seem to embed youtube videos using text editor. It brings up the youtube box, but rejects all the videos. What am I doing wrong?

Let me clarify my question. Should I make a new quota for admin for groups? And when you say groups, there are three options: group discussions, group pages and group support. I am assuming it is NOT group support, but which of the other two is it?

Hi Strumelia!

I can see the potential in Jamroom, but it is getting my head wrapped around it, that I am having an issue with. I have been watching the Udemy videos and they are a bit helpful, but for instance, while I get that you have to turn on quotas, I still don't understand how I am actually building a site, with the Ninga skin. I am also having a problem understanding how to make a group into my central forum on my landing page (or any page for that matter), and the forum is the heart of my group.

I love the idea of polls, too. I do use them with my group. I might even let my members have them...but first I have to get the basics set up.

So right now I am focused on getting a group to act as my main forum.

I think we went off track here a bit (not sure) but how do I put into the community page a group that will be used as my forum. Also for the rest of the groups, I use the directions that you gave me on top, right?

Maybe it would help you to understand what I am shooting for if you look at my present Ning 2.0 group. Here is the addy:

And thanks for the link. No I haven't seen it.

So here is where I get confused. Right now, each member of my site can create a group/groups that they admin to and other members on the site join. How do I get that to happen on this platform?

Update: Just went to check out that link... and it is very helpful. But in order to do that, I have to have the ninga skn ready to go, right? Oh boy.. there is a long way to go till I am ready for that.

I really wish I had a better understanding of how Jamroom functions. It would make things so much easier. Right now I am handling each issue as they come up.

Sorry I have been MIA. I have been quite sick.
Will this create a group that I can use as the group's main forum?
I just want to double check before I do it.

Also when I start to import the the present download from NIng, I don't have to do this, right?

I am at the part where I go to my site/community... but I do not see where I create a group called "Forum"

I need thread discussions for my forum so I would like to use a group for my forum. I have gotten this far:

I am not sure how to configure this so that a group will be the host of my forum.
