You could also browse your datastore for the module. The first way is faster for me. In fact, I don't even go to the detail page I just hover over a link and look at the web URL.

If you know which items you want to appear, choose the module and insert the IDs.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Have you looked at ACP > Skin Settings? You can define in great detail what appears in the lists.
