Open the signup template, copy it's contents, paste them in your skins index template.

You could do a redirect but it would be much easier to just copy the sign up template to the index template of your skin.

If you need some custom work done, I'd be happy to try to help.
Otherwise, It's really difficult to just tell someone how to code custom edits like dropdown menus. There's usually a lot of code to it or 3rd party plug ins and even the plugins take a good deal of work.
Let me know if you want an estimate of doing it for you.

Man that's one complex email template. The code looks like it should work and you say it works on hotmail. Have you gotten reports from other users using gmail? Perhaps it some sort of security setting in gmail?

This should be fixed now. Note: this is a timeline filter. So when you click the links they will filter out the timeline, so if you click blog you should only see blogs on the timeline.
