Importing members from Ghost

Using Jamroom

I have been working on SSO from Ghost and running into lots of problems making it work.

In the meantime, I want to import a subset of members. I used to host this community on Jamroom and want to import members that signed up since I made the switch to Ghost.

I can export members from Ghost no problem but I have been looking around for an import feature that was not associated with Ning3 imports. There is no obvious entry in the documentation and I searched for posts on this topic in this forum.

I also want to make sure that the import function:

* will dedupe the imports based on email addresses already in the database
* will send an email to the new members asking them to create a password and complete their profile

Finally, that I know the correct order of columns for the import.

Thanks for this. After I asked this question I started doing a module-by-module look at the info and global config tabs and found the Marketplace versions setting.

Why would I want to keep more than the current version around (on a production server)? I am not doing any active development and so don’t have dev and staging servers.

As for the two errors - fixed:

it was because the curl php extension for PHP 8.1 was not installed

Brian - SSH credentials sent.

We *think* it may be MySQL writing binlogs but why that should be happening all of a sudden is a mystery.

We did upgrade to PHP 8.1 but I am now getting the following errors for System Check and Mailgun. So maybe there is something that is not fully configured there.

I am still struggling with what is causing creeping disk usage – about 1GB/hr from somewhere after a bare metal reinstall.

I have a partially installed (missing some dependencies) version of Site Builder that is deactivated. I assume I can delete it?

In 2015 I used the Ning Import module. Do I still need it? Ning Notes?

I am no longer using Google Analytics (now using Fathom). Can I disable it? Is it possible to delete?

I have deleted FoxyCart so I assume I can delete Merchandise, correct?

I am having trouble retrieving the YouTube API key –

I am monitoring disk space through the dashboard and it is slowly creeping up. 500mb increase in about 30 minutes.

The only logging activity is CRItical. All other logging is turned off.
There is one queue worker: ten_minute_maintenance

Brian - sent. However, once the disk filled again the system was unreachable.

We ended up doing a complete backup from the terminal, downloaded everything, wiped the disk, and then did a reinstall. Things appear to be looking good and the response is very fast.

However, I did notice some critical errors in the activity log. I am not sure if these are a remnant of something from the install.

I have turned off slow query logging and query logging but they are still being logged.
