Yea thats how I have my site set up. After the member creates a free account they can upgrade to a subscription account. He was asking if they could purchase the subscription accounts directly on sign up. I tried it out and could not do that currently how the module was designed.

Yes, You would purchase the Foxycart Module from the Jamroom marketplace.

You would also need to create an account and subscribe to Foxycart.

Their subscription charges you monthly fees to use their shopping cart. Their website and pricing can be found here http://www.foxycart.com/

Also Your customers can pay with Paypal with the foxycart module.

I just tested this for you and it seems I was able to sign up to my website to a paid subscription account and it did not charge me the subscription prior to access. It verified my account via email and I had access to the site as a subscription member. However when I tried to switch the subscription to another subscription class it said no prior subscription found. I think I may have found a bug here.

Yes with the foxycart module you can do subscriptions.

And you can configure [User Accounts]=> [Quota Config] in your ACP. Check the box to "ON" for the quota your selling the subscription to.

I wonder if the {$ccs_footer_heref} and {$javascript_footer_href} from foxycart has anything to do with it?

I seen that come up in a debug while searching....

Ok thanks Steve I will check that out this morning.


I found this code placed there? Im also unable to use any blocks of code from the jrElastic profiles with this skin.

Then I also just notice the following and followers was not programmed right on this skin either. I will try fixing all this up this morining and see if I can get the Life Streams module up running on my site.

System Check Reset

I just switched servers for someone but the System Check is still showing the old configuration and wont perform a full system check of the new server.

I removed the Facebook API script from the last line in the footer. Also my pages finish loading in my browsers yet its not loading. Im not able to figure this one out I guess or my skin is not compatable. I was able to get it to display once briefly and also was able to get it on elastic but cant get it to work on the NWMG site agian.
