Question about HTTPS images

Design and Skin Customization

Even though i have moved my site to https- In the browser error console i am still seeing warnings that my images are not https...( even though they will display fine if you add the "https" to the url in place of the 'http")
I was wondering if template injection module could be used to make all http into https?
Or is there a way to achieve what i am wanting?
My images have been uploaded in Site Builder modules..so I am thinking right now the
{!jamroom}/....
is not actually being placed in the url...
My image urls seem to be displayed like this
http://roughneckcity.com/upimg/image/upimg_file/148/320
Thank you

Question about Facebook

Using Jamroom

For each article you have to add the above..if you add that code to the head of the page each time someone shares that page what they will see is whats in that code...you could change the title to PINK UNICORNS and regardless of whats on the page when they share it the title will be PINK UNICORNS
Same for the description...write what ever YOU want shared
Then add the page url and the url of the image you want shared ( usually its on the page)

Sorry to trouble with this...
Now that i have done the above i cannot open the site builder widgets
from the error console

"XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://roughneckcity.com/sbcore/modify_widget/html_id=widget_id-684/__ajax=1. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://roughneckcity.com' is therefore not allowed access."

here is how I edited the htaccess file adding the code after the line you stated
# All requests through the router
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.roughneckcity\.com [NC]
RewriteRule .? https://roughneckcity.com%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ modules/jrCore/router.php?_uri=$1 [NC,L]
</IfModule>
Did Ido this incorrectly?.. or do i need another rewrite for4 trhe sitebuilder modules?
Sorry and thanks

Thanks Brian- yes I actually got the answer from the server...using
https://roughneckcity.com/user/login
works!
Somewhere else i added https://www... ( cant remember where now) so i thought access required the https://www.

I added the code above to the htaccess file- THANK YOU again..was getting really frustrated.

Just as a note i should add that when using the old sharethis script it has to be modified in meta.tpl to https..
I found using sharethis's new script did not require the mod...
Now I am trying to understand why my images are not https...

This from the developer tools console after trying to log in
XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://roughneckcity.com/core/form_validate/__ajax=1. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'https://www.roughneckcity.com' is therefore not allowed access.

Maybe I need to add a "'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header" ???

Here is their reply

Hello,

Looks like the form validation https://roughneckcity.com/core/form_validate/__ajax=1 is causing the issue. I suggest to check with the site developer.

Also i notice when i go to this url
http://roughneckcity.com/oilfield_forum/oilfield-forum/forum
its NOT SSL for some reason? I have a separate install of JR there in a subfolder to use as a forum ( like this onje) but never managed to figure out how to do it..I will probably delete it in the future but wondered why it was not SSL..
I have a help ticket open with my Managed VPS concerning the issues with SSL and asked them to check my configuration...

my Premium Cometchat disappeared- related to SSL/https changes?

Using Jamroom

Strumelia:
Thanks Mike, but... too little, way too late. If you read this thread, you'll see that my CC support ticket was responded to TWICE by the CC support team with the same refusal to help in any way until I bought a new license (see above in this thread).
Now you say it might have been solved quickly and easily by simply resetting the base url to https. If that had been the response initially to my ticket two weeks ago, it might have kept you a customer.
Meanwhile, seeing my distress over suddenly not having a working chat, the Jamroom Team immediately stepped up and offered to try and help investigate my CC issue, despite it not even being their program to support.

I now use the Jamroom Chat program on both my sites. Super fast support, working perfectly, and my members are liking it. Jamroom helps all their platform users (new and old) with SSL/https updating issues immediately, and at no extra cost.

Thanks anyway though, and best wishes to you... bye!

Sorry you had same experience as i did with them..cost me around $250 (I think) to find out how bad their support sucked- then I had to spam all their YT videos for a week with negative comments THEN I got a message from them " we would love to help..." pfft...
