Trying to get this work but I don't think it's returning any records. Always shows 'no posts found'

Ning To Jamroom
On ning we have the ability to mark a forum post as 'Featured'.
This is similar to pinning a post but instead of pinning the post to the top of the forum category it displays it at the top of the forum index page as featured posts.
I've created a new tab in the skin where I can input the ID's of the posts I want to feature and I can list those out on the forum index page.
What I need to know is if I can pull out an individual post if I know it's ID and what the code would be.

Text box for html
Ning To Jamroom
On Ning we have the ability to put a free format text box into the layout which is only editable by admins.
We use this to put banners in advertising stuff etc. We input raw html ie div, a, image tags etc.
Had a look through the modules and can't find anything that does this.
Also tried creating an extra tab in the skin global settings but html tags get stripped out when saving.
Any ideas on how we can achieve this.

Ning archive out of date

Has anyone had this problem with the ning archive ?
When we run the archive, the 'local' version of the json file is always a few days behind the original file.
For example, in the archive we've run today, the first record in the members file is dated 2015-03-02 but in the 'local' version the first record is dated 2015-02-26.
As the client doesn't want the site down for longer than 24 hours when we do the actually switch over, this gives us a major problem, as the site will not be up to-date !!
I've raised a support ticket with Ning but just wanted to know if anyone else had encountered this.
