Synchronising user name and profile name

Coming from Ning, each user will only have one profile per user account.

I need to have someway of synchronising the user name and profile name so that they only have to update it in one place.

I suspect this could be done through a custom module but not too sure where to start?

Would be good if we could do the same with the profile and account image as well.

When logged in as standard user, clicking the 'Embed local Media' button generates the following error :-

{"notices":[{"type":"error","text":"invalid module"}]}

Quota is allowed to use it and it works OK for an admin user

We're going live in the next couple of weeks (hopefully !) so I was doing a dress rehearsal for the go live day by doing a fresh import from scratch.

On the Profile forum import it got to 8545/19591 and then stopped updating.

I used 'Inspect Element' and checked the Network for activity and found the following ajax response repeating every second or so :- [{"t":"empty","m":"no results found for key"}]

I tried the Group Discussion import as well but that stopped at 471/20064 but this time there is no ajax response update happening.

Now we know where the code is we can mod the it for testing so that only certain user_id's can receive emails.

I fully understand where Paul is coming from on this !

We often scrape sites for clients when we are building new a new website for them and we can't get the original site builder to give us a csv or database of the data.

Each time we have to customise the code to get it to work so it's something we only do as one off. Quite often we have to massage the data once we've managed to scrape it.
