Using Jamroom

I have this Chinese writing appear on my browser whenever I visit Jamroom, any ideas where this is coming from ?
My system is fully protected by firewalls and antivirus. This only happens when I visit Jamroom or my Jamroom site. See image for what I see.

After adding a custom field to any form you'll most likely need to modify template(s) to show it. So, if you have added 'event_end_date', in templates, add {$item.event_end_date} where you want it to show.

Checkout the jrEvent_calendar smarty function for filtering events by year.

FYI - Did you know that jrEvent has repetitive events, which include end dates, built in? See -

Thanks Paul, I suspected it would be that but wasn't sure if it was supposed to be added by default when you created the field in the form designer so asked the question first before messing with the templates.

After adding an end date in the form designer do you have to do something else to get it to show in the events lists themselves ?
I have added a screenshot of the events list and it needs to show in the events list in profiles to.
I have added an End Date and time so it should show the event date and time and underneath the end date and time. Also can you filter the events by year ?

I love how the JR team goes in every time to look for any possible problem from their end and fixes it right away. A refreshing change from NingWorld, for sure.

I agree Strumelia, the Jamroom team are great for this. Any question I have asked has been replied to in a very efficient manner with a true willing to find an answer rather than being fobbed of with some generic ' well get back to you ' that Ning sends out. I am very impressed with Jamroom now I am gradually finding my way around and hope to launch my site to members in a few more weeks time, although I may change my site onto an Arvix VPS to get a little more speed and upload sizes so it's nice and quick when more people are using it :-)

Just added the new core update and all my lists are now showing correctly, well done guys this works great now :-)

What's the difference between Artists & Members ?

Using Jamroom

Cool thanks guys, I just wanted to ask before I got into the lists and saves any confusion from the off and a good point about the quotas.

This may seem like an odd question but I like the way the Artists list for them are coming out and may just make the artists list my members list. Are the Artists list for members who have uploaded music only and so will only list those ?

I see why this is happening, and is due to a small regression introduced in 5.2.16 (due to removal of _item_id => _created mapping). I'm working on the fix and will have it fixed for 5.2.17.
