Events Stuff showing up in the toolbars not related to events

Using Jamroom

paul:
I think this has been fixed. Are you running the latest modules from the marketplace?

Thanks Paul, I only did an update a bit earlier today and didn't notice another lot of updates had been added. All upto date now and all is working ok.
Thanks again :-)

Here is another image when the video is opened, also it appears in the blogs, audio, video etc etc so worth checking into.

There seems to be some odd things happening with the toolbars and events items are showing up in youtube videos, blogs etc.

line spacing in the Profile page "Bio" box still excessive

Ning To Jamroom

Strumelia:
John, would each member have to set that every time one makes a post in the text editor, I assume?

Yes they would, I am going to have a play around with this over the weekend and see what else I can come up with.

The tiny mice is set to Paragraph by default, if you change the option to Pre then you can press enter and it will just continue as a new line rather than a paragraph.

Images and Galleries - Don't understand the functionality

Ning To Jamroom

paul:
Quote: However, there is a discrepancy between what albums contained in Ning and what the galleries in JR contain. In particular, I think there needs to be, for each member, a gallery than contains all of the images that were not assigned to Ning albums and therefore should not be grouped into galleries in what seems to be a random fashion. I propose that this gallery be called " Loose Images ".

Am curious that you talk about there being photo albums on Ning as in their archives there is no evidence of this. There is a photo title and description fields, and that is it. On Ning do you have another option to group photos into albums? If so, Ning have neglected to include this information in the archive so as such, there's not a lot that can be done on import. (this wouldn't be the first omission on their part either!!).

Just so you know, when I first developed the import module, I allocated Jamroom's 'gallery_title' to the profile name on import so that all profiles did have just one gallery. A few weeks ago some ex Ningsters said this was wrong and wanted the photo title to be the gallery title so I change the import module accordingly. As I said above, without the album info from Ning, there's not a lot else we can do on import.

Paul the photo albums where in the older version of Ning ( ver2 ) which @thechocolatelife has added a link to. The current version 3.0 does not have photo albums for a member anymore, all photos are just in one place and in categories if added. This is why you maybe did not see it in the archives.

I have this Chinese writing appear on my browser whenever I visit Jamroom

Using Jamroom

John Bizley:
Once I did the core update then the chinese appears and then stays there when I click over to Jamroom.net yet not on any other tab. So if I open a new tab for another site then that tab is free from the wording. If I close the whole browser then it goes away even when visiting Jamroom.net or my own Jamroom. It does not appear at any other time until I do an update which I have been doing over the last few days for the new ones you guys have added. Hmm will check out the malware, my virus and malware scanner does a full scan each day and has not picked up anything there. Will see what happens when I do my installation of new hard disks and let you know if it appears again after that.

OK - let us know - whatever it is is kinda weird ;)

Thanks!

Will do Brian :-)

I use FireFox, Chrome and IE12. It mostly happens when I have done a system update. I just updated with the latest core and it appeared. I close the browser and it goes away. The only plugins I use is for Firebug but it does not happen anywhere else. I am having some new broadband connections added over the weekend and Intend to add some new hard disks to replace my 2014 ones which I do each year for backups of each year so can test it again on new clean drives.
