A few things I am loving about Jamroom

Ning To Jamroom

John, would be curious about the NING skin. Would like to see how it works and looks. Biggest complaint I have thus far, is that no way to see how skins/modules work without purchasing first...and sorry, after NING, no one is getting my money until I see how something works.

I have done nothing but load the core. And in trying to add a profile as a test, the verification process is not working correctly.

Understand, but they surely provide customer service for their core product..and that is where I am having difficulty.

Just not much description and information on the marketplace offerings...so why blindly spend money?

Therein is the problem...no way to see what the bundles really are. What does the Ning bundle have and how does it work?

How do you get a hold of customer service?

ok, heard great things about the customer service with jamroom..but for the life of me can find no link to contact customer service. So we are just supposed to live and die by comments by posters here?

Okay, so did some more thumbing around and found the pending users file. Can resend the email and it has an activate. Guess I will see if once the person does their activation if I as a admn get to approve them.

Not real sure on how much I like Jamroom. Not much information on the core itself as to its workings and the marketplace offerings give no real description of what the products will do...a screen shot just does not show the functionality and I could care less about how it looks per se, how it functions is what is important. So I spend $40 to find out if something is what I need or not.

Questions about sign ups to my site by others

Installation and Configuration

I just started the site and trying to see how Jamroom really works. Created a profile using another email and the email came back stating not able to send. Not problem on my email end, so not sure what problem is. But here is issue: The account still shows as an account, but no way to do the verification process. So how does a person coming to my site confront such issues? Also brings up question of how do we set approvals of members by administrator?
