fwiw It would be nice to be able to select "forum" in addition to stand alone page or a group. Then be able to edit the post and select a category; for organization purposes. In this particular site, we're going to do away with most Groups. While many of the posts/pages are still relevant, it's going to be difficult to restructure many of these 300 pages.

Thanks Paul. Yes, they were stand-alone pages (weren't in Groups) so you're saying I'll *have* to assign them to a group to make them editable? That'll be fun. There's over 300. LOL Thank again

Just came across this today where I receive this error message when attempting to edit posts which were migrated. Never attempted to edit these before so idk if it's something new or not. Here is one post URL as an example http://stockbuz2.net/admin/group_page/104/term-limits-and-the-us-constitution and another one http://stockbuz2.net/admin/group_page/104/term-limits-and-the-us-constitution Haven't checked others yet.

If unable to repair, what will be the impact of any URLs in migrated posts once the old site shuts down? JR URL structure seems so diff. Will it result in dead links?

Yes we do and I've built pipes for others. It amazes me I have to build modules to enable this. I was hoping it would be something JR would enable across platform w/o having to build individually. Oh well

I could very well be missing something and yes, I did search the forums here but it seems only Blogs have an RSS output. This is a necessity for news, tech or political websites (imho). Any chance this can be added to forums and categories? I realize members can "follow" but it's definitely not the same as a being added in an RSS pipe.

SE I so much appreciate your assistance. It's been a long week so I'll get into what I need to do tomorrow a.m. but here's an oddity.

So are they going to repair the panels to work in the Ning skin or should I switch to another skin in order to utilize them? (edited) but if I do switch, do I lose groups?

I tried to enable and disable the profile media box and it had no effect either way. As it stands, we cannot upload any photos or videos at all. There must be something (really incredibly stupid simple) I'm missing.........

OK so we all decided to wipe out my site and start from scratch, along with Ning import. Cool. I thought I enabled everything but there remains two problems maybe you all can help with.
1. I no longer have the option to change page layout. Now Paul said he had to disable Ning Panels b/c it was interfering with the Ning skin but is that why I can no longer change page layout? Obviously this is a problem. I re-enabled it and sure enough, things wigged out. Luckily I was able to disable it again but is a fix coming? I need to be able to modify layouts (hopefully) without messing with the CSS itself.

2. When I'm in a forum, blog or page and I go to embed media (photo), the embed media page is completely blank. It doesn't matter if I have selected a blog list image or not. The media page is still blank.

I went back through my image settings, quotas, permissions three different times. All seem ok but obviously I'm overlooking something. Someone smack me - it's been a loooooong week. What am I missing?

ok GoDaddy says they tried disabling htaccess and it just brought up a landing page. They don't see anything that would cause the website to display in this manner. He checked my DNS settings after my mailgun setup and said they're good - should have no impact on website display. He's going to email me what's in the htaccess so I can forward it to you.
