Integrating my Appbuilder platform with Proxima

Proxima

I'm not sure if this is the proper forum category for this, and I apologise in advance if this post is 'a bit much'.

I have an Online App building platform over at http://appbuilder.intro2.co.uk which I'm hoping to integrate fully with Jamroom Proxima so that I can have my users design their own apps which would then be hosted on my Jamroom/Proxima install.

Before I begin the monumental task of creating all the necessary bridge files etc for the integration I need some other opinions from anyone using Proxima who would like to have a login to my Appbuilder to try it out. You can download the resulting source files as a zip once you've created your app then all you need to do is compile your app e.g.apk file in your favorite compiler.

Anyone wishing to help me test this out please send me a PM with your email address and a password, which you can change after logging in to the Appbuilder.

Any and all feedback is welcome.

Jamroom 5.3 Beta Kickoff

Announcements

Is it too late to suggest a small feature in 5.3? I'd like to be able to set the listing order for audio and video albums as well as galleries. It's easy enough right now to arrange the items within a gallery or album but, if for example you're using the Photo skin bundle and have a list of a dozen or more galleries, there's no way to order them. Same problem for musicians who have a dozen albums to display.

Just thought I'd chip in my tuppenceworth while we're in Beta.

How do i embed iframes?

Using Jamroom

You should also add 'iframe' to your 'Allowed HTML Tags' in the ACP >> Core >> Quota Config section.

Photo Pro date and time rendering

Design and Skin Customization

Thanks Douglas. I think that the date now displayed is the date of upload. I'm actually trying to (using exif) display the date and time that the photograph was taken.

Photo Pro date and time rendering

Design and Skin Customization

I'm having a bit of trouble trying to get the date and/or datetime to display properly on photo item page.

I've tried this (with the same results) by using a form designer input field, and also tried by using 'gallery_image_time' directly from the image into the template.

Here's how it gets displayed... http://geoengineering.gallery/mick/gallery/9/deterioration-of-chemtrail

Can anyone suggest a fix for this issue?

I thought that's how it should work. Thanks for keeping me on the right track once again, Brian.

Jamroom Hosting

I'm using the Jamroom Nameservers ns1.linode.com ns2.linode.com ns3.linode.com ns4.linode.com but I had also set the Advanced DNS at my Domain Registrar pointing to the settings suggested by Mailgun for verifying the domain prior to making the domain become the 'Primary' in my JR hosting CP.

Have I got this wrong? Should I just set the Nameservers to linode.com and leave the TXT, CNAME and MX blank at my Registrar and let Jamroom do the rest?

Thanks.

Jamroom Hosting

Thanks, Brian.

So the email forwarding in the JR Hosting will work if I have the domain's (incoming) MX set to Mailgun?

Is that correct?
