jrCore_checktype; Error on visiting website

Using Jamroom

Hi Guys,
I've noticed that I have a problem when accessing musical1.com - I get this error...
error: jrCore_checktype: unable to load checktype plugins
Other JR sites on the same server are fine.
Any advice on how I can fix this will be very much appreciated.
Mick.

The GDPR right to be forgotten - applies from May 25th 2018

Using Jamroom

For detailed information about GDPR here is a vital url... http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:32016R0679
I haven't got around to updating my JR sites to be GDPR friendly yet. I've been very busy these last few weeks helping clients with GDPR updates. If anyone is interested in seeing one of my GDPR privacy pages for a client's App, check out, https://studio.fullblownapps.com/application/privacypolicy?id=577d629f57578 I'm sure this can easily be adapted for my JR sites too.

Does anyone here have a mobile app built for a JR site?

Using Jamroom

I have an app builder platform for my clients who want to make their own apps for iOS and Android. You're more than welcome to try it out and see if it would be suitable for your needs. I haven't tried integrating a JR site via Proxima yet but I'm sure it can be done using the source code feature in the app building editor. I can't remember off-hand how long I have the 'free trial' set for but it won't be any more than 30 days. Long enough to see it it works for you or not. Editor login/signup is at https://studio.fullblownapps.com Good luck!

Why Jamroom is the best CMS

Off Topic

I began using Jamroom early in 2004, back in the days of version 2.1 and have thoroughly enjoyed the journey to our latest version each and every day.

The reasons I have stayed with Jamroom for so many years are simple...

The bigguy himself, Brian Johnson, and his dedication to the whole project, creating a better and better cms with each update while ensuring the stability and security of the platform over so many years. Brian's dedication to Support must be applauded too. Over all the years I've known him he has delved in deep to help out all of us Jamroom users in the Forums with a genuine concern for our problems and an itch to help us solve our issues, which he indeed does, mostly within a short time. Brian has set the bar high, and his professional attitude to business relationships and growth is what will keep me using Jamroom for many years to come.

Since the mid 1990s I've probably tested out most of the CMS out there, and also tested out their support. None of them come close to Jamroom, especially when it comes to flexibility of use. I've heard some folk complaining that Jamroom is too Musician focused. Maybe back in the version 1 & 2 days it was but not any more. I've used Jamroom to create many differing kinds of sites from Music to TV with my latest one centred on a Support site ( https://www.i2apps.co.uk ) for some of my other products & services.

If you're thinking about whether to use Jamroom for your next project, take my advice.. Go for it, you won't regret it!

The release of Jamroom Version 6 opens up new possibilities!

Rock on.

Instagram

Jamroom Developers

Instagram recently changed the way it shares items. It has to be controlled on a 'User' basis. Instagram Users must create their own 'Keys'.

Editing iSkin Basic

Design and Skin Customization

Hi,

I need to delete a few menu items from the mobile side menu - 'Create Share', 'By Most Plays' and 'Get the app'

Which template should I edit to delete these entries?

Download links on Android Webapp

Installation and Configuration

It looks like Appsmoment are using Siberian to run their site. If so, then downloading an mp3 isn't something that will work on Android or Apple apps at the moment.

Having said that, you can try adding a source code feature to you app and include an iframe to a page where the link (not the file) resides, and have the link open in a new window, this might prompt your android to open the link via your browser instead of your app.
