Thanks so much! - I take it you saw the issue happening, then?
Will be interested in knowing what you figure out. I also wonder if it's something that would be affecting other jr sites.

Just sent it. Thank you Michael!

btw- the 'emergency' is not top level Red Alert... no nudes involved! lol ...just some info about a hacker/stalker that I was discussing with a member.

When logged in as a regular member, seems to be showing me: images I recently embedded (as Master admin) in a Group PAGE in my PRIVATE moderator Group... and, images I recently embedded (as master admin) in my PRIVATE emails to another random member.

Why are all signups and logins showing in Timeline for the site?

Using Jamroom

PJ, do you have the little checkbox CHECKED for "delete timeline entries'... in your Timeline Module's/Global Config/General tab?

Also, sometimes a timeline will be a snapshot in time of something that happened, but items showing in the timeline may not reflect newer changes. (especially if the items were not actually deleted)
Try just deleting those unwanted past items from the timeline, and then wait to see if your changes are preventing new unwanted items from showing there that your changes are trying to prevent. A handy place to quickly view/edit/delete existing timeline entries from the Dashboard is: yoursite.com/timeline/dashboard/browser

Yikes!! There seems to be a new feature when one goes to create or edit a post in the tinymce text editor... when you go to 'upload and image to embed in your post, you now also get to see and choose from recent previously uploaded images to the site, uploaded from ALL members.

To my horror I saw my own Master Admin images showing up there... images embedded from my PRIVATE MESSAGES and also from posts I made in my PRIVATE Group for our site moderators. Then of course I thought -maybe I only see them as Admin?... so I logged out and logged back in as a regular member- and they are all there showing to everyone!
I need to fix this FAST- I cannot have members, or even my moderators, able to freely peruse images I (or each other) may have sent in PMs (!), and I can't have regular members seeing the images and screenshots we moderators may have embedded in our PRIVATE GROUP discussions about problematic members.

BTW, this was happening BEFORE I applied the very latest updates from the past two days... so it must have started with the updates just prior to those. I must not have gone to embed an image in the last couple days, until this morning.
I'd be perfectly happy to turn OFF this new 'uploaded image preview' feature altogether! I don't need it anyway, and obviously it's a terrible breach of privacy as it is functioning currently.
See screenshot, while logged into my site as a regular member:

DB Backups now always stuck in Queue

Using Jamroom

Just in case anyone else finds themselves in the same situation-
Brian discovered that I had set my S3 buckets enabled for 'versioning'... which prevented the older versions from being removed daily, thus just accumulating more and more content in my AWS S3 backup buckets. $$$
Obviously I didn't quite understand what 'versioning' was...I thought it meant kind of the opposite!
I feel dumb, but happily Brian found the problem (YAY!!!) and this issue I'll now mark 'solved'. :)

Support Tickets or Forum Posts?

Announcements

That's a great idea Gary. Sort of like the "Transfer forum/group topic" tools. That way, rather than going through the process of asking someone to start a forum thread instead, you can just click a button and 'make it so'. :)

I figure if it could be an issue that others might be having as well, or that others could recognize and help me with, I'll post in the support forum.

It also helps a lot when searching for past instances with possible answers... if people would make their forum thread title a little bit DESCRIPTIVE... For example, instead of "Music problem", put "Soundcloud clips stopped playing". Instead of "Template help", try "template Compare button grayed out".

see the AWS bill details here showing where the usage is happening... one 'normal' one from January, then the suddenly changed to the giant one from February...and continues on now even higher than that...

Thanks for checking that Brian!
I have to go out for a few hours now, but will open a ticket as soon as I get back... thank you!

p.s. I also think this is why my monthly bill for AWS S3 backup is zooming over $20 for the past two months... previously was always about $3 and I've changed nothing...i only use it for the JR routine backups.
