Intermittent error storing gallery map data

Ocasionally (but getting more regular in last couple of days), the image location is not storing properly - it's usually gallery_googlemaps_lat. As you can see from attachment, in the datastore browser, the value is absent, but if you choose the modify button, there is a an accurate value for gallery_googlemaps_lat.

What is odd is that it almost seems to be some characteristic of the image. If the value doesn't 'take', you can't edit it manually - that images map will always be broken. So you delete the image and try again - same result. Took two hours yesterday to get one image in, and even then I had to upload a different picture to create the gallery, and then go back and change it to the one I wanted.

Doesn't seem to be characteristic of the chosen location - it will happen whether you choose a specific address like '21 Alum Rock Road', or a generic one like 'Birmingham'. The data is there somewhere though - the box that says 'Nearest places to this image' gets its data from the gallery_googlemaps fields.

Baffled.

I'm *sure* during my exploration I've seen some smarty relating to whether a user is signed in or not, but I'm blowed if I can find it now I need it.

Essentially I only want to show a google ad to non-signed in members - a search of the documentation didn't present a clue (that I could see), but I know it can't be far away. Any thoughts gratefully received, etc. etc.

This time round I deleted the page again in Panel Browser, and this time ensured I created it via the Menu builder, and the. Went and edited it. I can't recall how I did it before, but there's a chance that first time round I just went to the page - which is then created - and edited it like that. Can't remember, but it works now!

Thanks for the database info - hadn't thought about going at it that way round - had just seen the panel browser in the Panels Tools tab, and not been able to see a database browser. Slowly slowly.....!

I understand not wanting to make any changes to the 'old' module, I'm going to wait to make most of my updates until it's fully deployed.

It's just this page that I'm after getting going - Your explanation made sense, although I have just tried doing that, and got the same result. I can't see where you're seeing that data - are you somewhere 'special'?!

I have the recurrence of a problem I had with my Home page, that Michael admirably sorted out for me - a new page I've created can only be seen by the admin. I'm going to hang fire on all other site building activities until new SiteBuilder is 100% compatible, but in the meantime, I could really do with this one page working...

The page is at OurTownStory.co.uk/nearme - I am really unsure as to what happens for this only to occur to the odd page.

Is the ability to add alternate icons (like I think you can do with smileys) on the cards? I know icons can be a bit of a graphical oddity.

Some of my users I think would benefit....

Changing them in jrCoreXXXXXX/img/iconsblack is intriguing, but doesn't seem to alter anything much....
