CRI: Query Error since updating to 5.3.0b9

Using Jamroom

Hello, all, hope you had a good Christmas.....

Since updating the System Core to 5.3.0b9, I can no longer log in, or carry out updates to any other modules. Almost anything, including an integrity check, generates the following error:

CRI: Query Error: Data too long for column 'session_data' at row 1

Any thoughts....?

See all users' timeline mentions

Using Jamroom

That would be fab - as some of my profiles are places, not people, it would be good for visitors to see where else they get mentioned - for instance in forum posts.

Thanks!

@ Tag mentions in Profile Forums

Using Jamroom

Yep, it's checked, and works fine in timeline, just not Profile Forums.

On your own page, you can see your timeline or your mentions. When you visit someone else's profile, you can't choose the 'mentions' option. Is that changeable?

@ Tag mentions in Profile Forums

Using Jamroom

@ tags don't seem to resolve in profile forums, only in timeline posts. Is that just how it is, or an error on my network? Have tried it with the editor both on and off.

All thoughts etc etc....

User Accounts page not loading for Chrome & FF users

Using Jamroom

An issue seems to have occurred whereby users of Firefox & Chrome cannot access the User Accounts page - it just never loads. The issue does not happen when using Safari (on iPad) or IE - it loads fine. Doesn't matter whether you click a link or hard-type it into the address bar.

This was first reported by a user this morning, but as I haven't had to access that function, I can't say how long it's been a problem.

When a user does try to access the page, the server goes into overdrive (not saying much for Arvixe, though), and occasionally spits out this error:

(12)Cannot allocate memory: couldn't create child process: /opt/suphp/sbin/suphp for /home/mydomain/public_html/modules/jrCore/router.php

Debug & PHP error logs are reporting no errors at this time.

Any thoughts, etc. etc.

Site-wide 'online now' as in forums

Using Jamroom

We're very new - essentially still testing, but don't get loads of traffic yet, from analytics and experience, we've *never* had 20 visitors online at the same time. I don't see that we have a constant undercurrent of 19/20 visitors. It's currently showing the following values:

$master_count as 1
$admin_count as 0
$user_count as 0
$visitor_count as 19

The dashboard shows as per the attachment in Users Online. I'm confused about your dashboard point - in the Users Online tab, I frequently see 'visitor' as the User Name, and have always assumed that was a non-logged in user just browsing the site.

I've got to pop out now, but you can see it at ourtownstory.co.uk on the home page - note that for the purposes of the display, Site Admins is actually the count of the Master Admins - we don't have any site admins yet. You'll see that 'visitors is never lower than 19.

Unable to copy xxxxxxx.tpl to template cache directory error

Using Jamroom

Hi, Michael,

Thanks for that - always good to know how these things occur - had a panic on for a minute! I assume using the slowest hosting in the universe didn't make for a speedy resolution, either!

Unable to copy xxxxxxx.tpl to template cache directory error

Using Jamroom

This appears to have entirely resolved itself with no intervention by myself. I'll leave this up here for reference - I did have to do a full integrity check after it resolved itself, as the CSS was all over the place, and site search was not functioning.
